Educational Requirements:

Job Context:
∎ Women`s Protection Support for Myanmar Refugees and Host Communities in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.
∎ The purpose of this post is to provide day to day management, psychosocial support and related activities in the Rohinga Refugee Camp Areas. In particular, the position will be responsible for addressing mental health needs of women, adolescent girls especially in camp area and maintaining daily contact with the community based counseling. Work and liaise closely with the other staff members and relevant stakeholders.
∎ The duration of the contract will be until December 31, 2022.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assess the need of psychosocial/counseling support within the catchment area of Women Friendly Space (WFS).
∎ Delivering one-on-one (Individual) and group counseling sessions to the identified beneficiaries.
∎ Delivering psychosocial service support following different appropriate tools and techniques where applicable including PFA, observation, therapeutic session, play therapy, stress management, anger management, safety planning, relaxation and berating session, consultation etc.
∎ Facilitating the referral support.
∎ Assist in delivering relevant training, workshops etc. as outlined in the project.
∎ Supporting in the development of relevant IEC/BCC materials including different event contents.
∎ Engaging with the community to deliver and promote project activities in the designated locations.
∎ Assisting in preparing periodical reports, monitoring and evaluation activity and progress reports of project activities including monthly reporting to the PO.
∎ Maintaining a positive image of the project at all times and in all circumstances.
∎ Providing individual or group psychological support to the deserving targeted beneficiaries as appropriate including women, PLW, children, adolescents and parents/guardian of the children.
∎ Participating in staff meetings if required.
∎ Producing and maintaining records of the beneficiaries ensuring confidentiality.
∎ Maintain communication and liaison with relevant sectoral stakeholder and sharing information as per sector’s need.
∎ Uphold humanitarian code of conduct and adhere to and promote humanitarian guiding principles.
∎ Comply with NGO Forum for Public Health's policies and practice with respect to child protection, code of conduct, gender & equality, humanitarian responsiveness and other relevant policies.
∎ Perform other official tasks, as and when required, for the greater interest of the project/organization.
∎ Follow and maintain the disciplines properly as mentioned in the Service Rules of NGO Forum.
∎ Work in true spirit of teamwork and preserve personal integrity and respecting the organizational hierarchy of accountability.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 04 years’ working experience including PSS services.
∎ Fair knowledge on Rohingya Refugee context including PSS services of emergency projects, especially in Gender, GBV and protection prevention and response programming in emergency/humanitarian situation, supervising, mentoring and provide capacity building support to the project staff, ability to writing reports and verbal skills in local language of Chattgram/Cox’s Bazar.

Salary: Tk. 60000 (Monthly)
