Education:
∎ Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Psychology from any public/ private university is essential.
∎ Concentration in Clinical Psychology will be an asset.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Carrying out evaluation of mental health needs of patients and establishing a diagnosis and a plan of treatment. Informing the patient and his/her relatives about the possible consequences of the illness and the drug treatment to follow and referring patients to other health professionals whenever necessary, in order to provide the most appropriate treatment and improve the patient's condition;
∎ Implementing the Sexual Gender Based Violence (SGBV) protocol, identifying possible victims of SGBV and referring them to the medical team so that they receive the necessary treatment;
∎ Providing psychological support and psychotherapy sessions (individual, family, group) to patients according to MSF protocols in order to improve their mental health conditions;
∎ Assisting and training staff members and resourceful people whenever necessary in order to enhance the scope of MH activities. Working in close collaboration with translators in order to ensure appropriate terminology and behaviour during sessions;
∎ Collecting statistical and monitoring data about mental health activities;
∎ Informing the supervisor and the medical team about any issues or problems that may arise related to patients' treatment in order to provide the best possible solution from a medical perspective;
∎ Ensuring that all patient information is kept confidential. To organize and conduct psychosocial/mental health sensitization sessions for staff to raise their awareness and understanding about wellbeing at work, mental health, and relevant psychosocial issues such as stress, trauma, and self-care;
∎ To offer punctual individual psychological support to the staff (Locally Hired Staff- LHS & Camp Based Team Member- CBTM);
∎ To provide emergency psychosocial support (in the group as on an individual level) to the staff in case of critical incidents happening in the projects (including International Mobile Staff if requested);
∎ To offer regular group emotional supervision sessions to teams; To identify external local mental health resources; To manage and provide needed referrals for individual staff (e.g. psychiatric problems, suicide ideation);
∎ To assess and analyze the psychosocial sources of stress and psychosocial risk factors with the different teams/projects and recommend measures to put in place and help develop a staff psychosocial care plan;
∎ To provide monthly data and reporting regarding their activities and share with Medical coordination and Psychosocial Unit;
∎ To engage in clinical supervision/technical support provided by the Psychosocial Unit.

∎ Salary is not negotiable. Income tax deduction at source will be applicable based on the current income tax rule.
∎ Festival bonus entitlement is effective upon completing one (01) year of uninterrupted service with MSF.
∎ There are no provisions for relocations.
∎ 2 annual leave days per month worked.
