∎ The Health & Nutrition support to Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals is a project that aims to improve access to health & nutrition services of Rohingya population through provision of free health care in static & satellite clinics, provide psychosocial aid to the vulnerable group of displaced population, improve nutritional status of malnourished pregnant, lactating & under-5 children by providing nutrients supplement, improve health & hygiene status of the target beneficiaries & ensure proper referral of them for advanced treatment if indicated
Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Provide psychosocial counseling services to Static & Satellite Health Centre clients
∎ • Provide mental first aid to the incoming clients as well as plan of follow up visits
∎ • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in dealing clients with particular emphasis on Gender Based Violence cases & sexually harassed cases
∎ • Maintain proper case documentation as per organization protocol
∎ • Ensure capacity building & provide support services to Community Health Workers to make them enable in identification of cases at the field-level
∎ • Develop and revise psychosocial training modules and materials for building up of awareness of target beneficiaries through health literacy sessions
∎ • Assist in preparing psychosocial training handouts, flip charts and be responsible in managing them
∎ • Provide monthly report as prescribed organizational format as well as to the mental health cluster
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ • Strong desire to work in extreme challenging conditions
∎ • Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to talk and listen to people and build rapport with them
∎ • Computer proficiency and familiarity with database management programs and commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
∎ Working experience in Rohingya camps & good communication skills in local language would be an added advantage
Salary: Negotiable
