• Minimum Four-year bachelor`s degree in Psychology, preferably in Counselling Psychology from any public university.

• Experience Requirements: The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of professional experience in counselling, preferably in a medical college or educational institution. Experience in handling youth, medical students, and patients under stress or trauma will be considered an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional ethics.

• Empathetic and patient-centred approach.

• Strong report writing and documentation ability.

• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written).

• Computer literacy (MS Office and digital documentation).

Ad-din Foundation is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality healthcare and medical education across Bangladesh. The Psycho-Social Counsellor will be responsible for providing professional counselling and psycho-social support services to students of Ad-din Medical Colleges. The position aims to promote mental well-being, address emotional or psychological concerns, and foster a supportive environment aligned with the organization's values of compassion and care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counselling to medical students.
• Conduct psycho-social assessments and identify mental health needs.
• Develop intervention plans and provide appropriate therapeutic support.
• Organize awareness sessions and workshops on stress management, emotional health, and positive coping strategies.
• Maintain confidential records and prepare regular counselling reports.
• Collaborate with academic, administrative, and clinical teams to ensure comprehensive psycho-social support.
• Offer crisis intervention and follow-up services where necessary.
• Contribute to the development of mental health policies and initiatives within the institution.
