  • The incumbent should be dynamic, well organized, self-driven and good personality.

  • Should be able to work under pressure.

  • Fluent in English and Bangla.

  • Act always in accordance with the Code of Conduct.

  • Able to work in a team and respect opinions of others.

  • Honest and high level of integrity.

Age limit : 40 years (age limit will be relaxed in case of potential candidate).



Responsibilities & Context:

The Red Cross–Red Crescent Movement is the largest volunteer-based humanitarian organization in the world. The Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS), a national society of the Movement, was constituted on 31 March 1973 through the President`s Order No. 26 of 1973, with retrospective effect from 16 December 1971. Today, it stands as the largest humanitarian organization in Bangladesh. As an auxiliary to the Government, BDRCS provides critical humanitarian assistance to vulnerable populations and has undertaken a wide range of activities, including humanitarian response, disaster management, climate change adaptation, health services, refugee response, capacity building, community development, and the promotion of Red Cross and Red Crescent principles and ideals.

Currently Bangladesh Red Crescent Society is looking for a suitable Bangladeshi national for the mentioned position:

Duration of contract : 03 Months (with possibility of extension based on performance).

Reporting to : Director, HR & Admin Department.

Duty station: National Headquarters’, Dhaka.

Roles and Responsibility:

  • Maintain and manage the Honorable Chairman’s program schedules.

  • Coordinate with IFRC, ICRC, and Partner National Societies (PNSs).

  • Coordinate with relevant Government agencies.

  • Liaise with various units of the Society.

  • Liaise with all departmental heads.

  • Liaise with all project and program heads.

  • Plan, monitor, and provide guidance to supporting staff.

  • Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by the authority.
