Experience:
Minimum bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science/Fisheries/ Animal Husbandry/Disaster Management or any other relevant subject.
At least 4 years of experience working with development organizations, with a strong preference for experience in livelihoods development activities of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Poultry-Livestock through Locally led adaptation in hard-to-reach areas of Bangladesh.
Proven experience in asset-based livelihoods development for vulnerable households.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate training and organize workshops at community, union, and upazila levels.
Prior experience in implementing climate-smart agriculture, aquaculture, poultry-livestock, natural resource management, and market development approaches.
Must have valid driving license and strong willingness to ride motorbike for field visit.
Effective team player with strong team management and coordination skills, especially with government and disaster-related stakeholders.
Experience working with local governance structures and government stakeholders.
Hands-on experience working in field-level NGO operations.
Excellent communication skills in English and Bangla (including typing), with the ability to present ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Community Engagement and Orientation:
Conduct induction meetings at community, union, and upazila levels to orient stakeholders on project activities.
Ensure that beneficiaries/project participants are selected appropriately following the agreed selection criteria for Agriculture, Aquaculture and Poultry-Livestock interventions.
Verify selected households/participants sample basis and approve the survey data in MIS.
Mobilize target communities and beneficiaries for active participation.
Assist and guide Community Supervisors in selecting target beneficiaries as per project guidelines ensuring disability, inclusion and gender transformative approach.
Ensure the service and data entry at CARE Track software accurately like Survey data, Survey data check, enrollment, Group Formation, service entry, event report etc.
Program Implementation:
Ensure smooth and speedy distribution input supports among the project participants for income-generating and livelihoods activities to target households.
Plan and implement field activities according to Detailed Implementation Plans (DIP) ensuring quality and quantity within the agreed timeframe complying with Gender transformative approach.
Assist and guide Community Supervisors to conduct capacity building events at field level.
Plan and organize vaccination programs for Poultry-livestock at project area following the SOP.
Regular field visit and provide follow-up support for the project participants and identify implementation challenges and make necessary adjustment or raise concern to appropriate channel.
Ensure the household level livelihood activities like Adaptive Kitchen Garden, Small Scale Farming, Poultry rearing, Goat/Sheep rearing, Pond aquaculture, Crab culture are being implemented in accordance with the SOPs and making the project goals and objectives achieved.
Assist/support/implement any other activities assigned by the line manager in coordination with Senior Technical Officers.
Implement several high value crop demo and piloting at field level.
Assist and guide for VSLA and entrepreneur level activities.
Staff Supervision and Capacity Building:
Enroll Community Supervisors (Volunteer), build their capacity and day to day supervision.
Provide day to day onsite supportive supervision to Community Supervisors through regular field visits, coaching, monitoring, and feedback.
Guide and build capacity of Community Supervisors on climate-smart agriculture, aquaculture, and Poultry-livestock intervention activities.
Assist Senior technical officers-Livelihoods to conduct participatory action plan development for sustainable and alternative livelihoods.
Assist Senior Technical Officer-Early Warning in implementing Climate Weather and Information Services related activities
Print and provide training modules and materials (festoon, Business plan & other formats) to Community Supervisors.
Mentor and coach field teams to ensure quality implementation and adaptive learning.
Linkage, Coordination, Networking and advocacy:
Establish and maintain linkages with NGOs working on saline agriculture, Aquaculture, Poultry-livestock and alternative livelihoods at Shyamnagar and Assasuni Upazila.
Represent Cordaid and NABAPALLAB in local forums, stakeholder meetings at Union and Upazila level.
Advocate for nature-based and locally led adaptation solutions in relevant networks.
May need to participate in Upazila NGO coordination meeting, submit progress report monthly and get UNO certificate.
Active engagement of Union level staff of relevant GoB departments (DAE, DLO, DoF etc.)
Effective collaboration and rapport with UP bodies, religious leaders, CBO leaders etc.
Maintain strong coordination with other colleagues of consortium members like CARE, Friendship, CNRS, DSK.
Reporting, Documentation and knowledge management:
Review and endorse the report submitted by Community Supervisors and dispatch to PMEL officer.
Prepare and submit process and follow up monitoring reports, event reports, Demo reports etc.
Write article/report, case stories, fact sheet for Newsletter and other reports and communication materials and support PMEL teams in documentation and capturing learnings.
Regularly track the progress report according to DIP.
Assist PMEL department in several study, FGD, data collection etc
Ensure the assigned Community Supervisors are opening and collecting papers from FAM box.
