∎ Direct line manager of: Assistant Project Officer - IPC

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Program Management:
∎ The Project Officer-IPC will be responsible for the management of WASH FIT activities in Ukhiya and Teknaf.
∎ Ensure continuous follow-up and on-site supportive supervision to all healthcare facilities in the FDMN settlements and host communities.
∎ Ensure that WASH FIT inventory is updated in a timely manner and report is prepared and shared.
∎ Coordinate with logistics hub and ensure distribution of essential items to the healthcare facilities in a timely manner.
∎ Provide detailed, accurate and timely weekly reports on activities, IPC challenges and areas that need actions including operational data.
∎ Capacity Strengthening:
∎ Facilitate WASH FIT trainings in Ukhiya and Teknaf according to WHO developed manual.
∎ Provide on job training, mentorship and guidance to project based clinical staffs and health sector partners and ensure IPC standards are in practice.
∎ Coordination and Advocacy:
∎ Participate in health sector meetings in Ukhiya and Teknaf, Operational Working Group meetings, and other coordination meetings led by UH&FPOs.
∎ Ensure robust and efficient coordination with health sector agencies and WHO area focal persons at field level.
∎ Ensure constant communication with facility-based healthcare staffs i.e. medical doctor, IPC nurse and waste management focal persons to identify potential areas for improvement.
∎ Ensure a steady and active representation of HEKS/EPER at cluster level as well in all the other, significant meetings.
∎ Safety and Security:
∎ Asses and consult other partners to ensure security situation of planned locations is calms; Ensure risk assessment and share security information.
∎ Responsible to put in place appropriate security and prevention measured during any distribution and implementation of project activities.
∎ Provide timely incident report to the line manager as needed.
∎ Financial Management:
∎ Manage budget for the assigned project and ensure all expenses are according to budget and meet HEKS/EPER standards regarding financial management, including accountability and good governance.
∎ Logistics:
∎ Liaise, as necessary, with the logistics, admin and finance staff to ensure items are procured, transported, stored, managed and accounted for correctly.

∎ Professional requirements:
∎ Good knowledge of security management in humanitarian contexts.
∎ Keep strong coordination with other implementing agencies, donors and local governmental authorities at field level.
∎ Budget management and excellent computer skills.
∎ Language:
∎ Fluent English skills (written and spoken).
∎ Knowledge in Chittagonian language will get preference.
∎ Personal requirements:
∎ Willingness to accept frequent field missions.
∎ Ability to establish collaborative relationships with staff, beneficiaries and other stakeholders.
∎ Strong attitude to take initiative, work autonomously and achieve results effectively.
∎ Flexibility and Stress-management.
∎ Respect of HEKS/EPER mission and values.

Salary:
∎ BDT. 86,025 per month
