Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide technical support to the project team; capacity building of Field Facilitator of TbFR project on community engagement; livelihood diversification; health-related issues (pregnancy, ANC, PNC, food diversification, etc.), early warning system, biodiversity conservation, and other relevant areas.
∎ Coordination and collaboration with local government, upazila, and district level Govt departments (especially the department of health, women affairs, disaster and relief), private sectors, NGOs, civil societies, and relevant partners.
∎ Provide day-to-day operational support to Field Facilitators, including performance management, capacity building, etc.
∎ Timely implementation of DIP activity.
∎ Prepare progress report, success story, and other reports as required by the project.
∎ Prepare a yearly plan of operation with a detailed budget under the project.
∎ Engage key stakeholders of disaster management (government, private sector, civil society, community, youth, and community leaders) from the grassroots to the national level.
∎ Stakeholder mapping, intelligence, and strategic influencing.
∎ Arranging workshops, campaigns, and social media activities for stakeholder engagement.
∎ Keeping track of stakeholder feedback and communicating with managers.
∎ Strategic planning and consultations for campaigns.
∎ Research, reporting, and documentation of TbFR outcomes.
∎ Organization of data and information related to TbFR
∎ Coordinate with TbFR staff as and when required.
∎ Human interest stories collection and dissemination.
∎ Support the Team Leader in collaborating and coordinating.
∎ Job Summary:
∎ The position is responsible for providing comprehensive technical and operational support to the TbFR (Taming the Buffer Forest Region) project team, with a particular focus on community engagement, health and livelihood development, disaster preparedness, and biodiversity conservation. This role involves capacity building of Field Facilitators, strategic planning, coordination with government and non-government stakeholders, and ensuring the timely implementation of project activities. The individual will lead the preparation of reports, documentation, and success stories while also supporting stakeholder engagement through workshops, campaigns, and social media initiatives. The role includes stakeholder mapping, intelligence gathering, and performance management to enhance project outcomes. Additionally, the position will assist the Team Leader in coordination and collaboration tasks, ensuring smooth and effective project execution from the grassroots to the national level.
