Education:

• Master of Science (MSc) in Agriculture

• Master’s in Agriculture /Environment science/Social Science or any related discipline. (Give priority for agriculture background)

• Age At most 50 years

• Age relaxation is possible for experienced candidates.
• Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information.
• Provide strategic direction for project implementation and supervise the project.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure successful project delivery.
• Facilitate project meetings, training, and workshops, and Environment Club meetings
• At least five years’ experience in climate Change/agriculture related project implementation.
• Have good skill in English.
• Have computer literacy both English and Bengali (excel, power point, Microsoft word, internet browsing etc.).
• Able to conduct climate change and adaptation related workshop, seminar, training, club meeting, staff training.
• Experience in income generating activity and entrepreneurship development.
• Experience in working with public and private sectors actors and market actors.
• Experience in market system development/value chain development approach considering adverse climate situation.

Satkhira Unnayan Sangstha (SUS), MRA license No: 00895-00696-00225 is going to implement a project titled: “Adapting to Climate Change and Ensuring Food Security”. The project aims to Climate smart agriculture, income generating activity considering extreme environment and climate condition. The project is financed by the Stromme Foundation (SF), Norway.

Responsibilities:

• Climate smart agriculture, income generating activity considering extreme environment and climate condition.

• Ensuring pure drinking water for climate vulnerable saline affected marginal people.

• Adolescent empowerment.

• Report to senior management regarding project progress regularly.

• Any other tasks or duties assigned by the senior management of the organization.

• S/he will be able to coordinate with local community, climate vulnerable saline affected marginal people, local organization, local elected body, local administration, local public/private sector actors, market actors and donor.

• Reporting to organization and donor.

• Conducting training, monthly meeting. Staff meeting

• Group formation with climate vulnerable people.

• Conduct climate change and adaptation related workshop, seminar, training, club meeting, staff training.

• Performance base Yearly increment.
