Job Responsibilities:
∎ Facilitate planning process of the project activities and delegate appropriately among team members.
∎ Manage the field team for implementation of the WASH project
∎ Provide supervisory support in organizing activities at the field level.
∎ Monitor the project activities for ensuring quality.
∎ Communicate with authorities for ensuring their participation and supports project activities.
∎ Facilitate the process of advocacy related activities (dialogues, meetings, workshops and so on) to promote WASH rights among community, local government.
∎ Fulfill NGOAB compliance and collection of certificate at project location.
∎ Document project reports, learning, good practices and cases.
∎ Ensure timely reporting to the donor and management.
∎ Having passion to work with most vulnerable community of the society.
∎ Facilitate expenditures process and monitor budget in line with donor's and organizational compliances.
∎ Maintain communication with donor.
∎ Represent in the sectoral meetings and events.
∎ Any other tasks as per need or assigned by the management
∎ Design and implement project related construction and maintenance works following the procurement policy and guidelines as appropriate
∎ Prepare plan for executing the construction and maintenance related works of the project and get approval from the authority
∎ Produce new design and renovation plan of different water points, sanitation blocks and latrines, piped water supply
∎ Make structural analysis & design software and report to respective authorities.
∎ Coordinate with legal authority, local authority, others as required for implementing the works
∎ Prepare tender/quotation documents and circulate to among the vendors/contractors
∎ Collect quotation, make comparative analysis and process for final decision
∎ Ensure quality of works
∎ Follow the guidelines and procedure of Donor and SAJIDA Foundation for the accomplishment of the works indicated in the project document
∎ Work with other team members for implanting the assigned job effectively
∎ Attend various meetings and workshops and get the common agreed decision implemented
∎ Any other tasks as per need or assigned by the management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Experience in Donor Funded Project/Program. Knowledge of policy and procedure of NGOAB. Working in Development Sector/NGO. Prior experience in project management will be an added advantage.
∎ Experience in Civil engineering works and knowledge in Implementation of WASH project.
Salary: Tk. 50000 - 55000 (Monthly)
