Job Responsibilities:
∎ Projahnmo Research Foundation (PRF) in association with Johns Hopkins University, USA has a long and illustrious history of conducting research in Bangladesh. PRF's research has contributed to improvement of health of Bangladeshi citizens and has supported the career development of numerous Bangladeshi public health professional. PRF is seeking qualified and motivated applicants from Bangladeshi nationals for the position of Project Manager for a multi-country, multi-center, three-arm, parallel group, double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized trial of two doses of antenatal corticosteroids for women with a high probability of birth in the late preterm period in hospitals in low-resource countries to improve newborn outcomes. In short, the study is known as Antenatal Corticosteroids for Improving Outcomes in preterm Newborns (ACTION-III) trial. The study will be implemented in five countries in Asia and Africa, coordinated by the World Health Organization. In Bangladesh, the study will be implemented at four hospitals located in Dhaka and Sylhet - Institute of Child and Mother Health, Matuail, Dhaka; Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Dhaka; Ad-din Women's Medical College and Hospital, Mogbazar, Dhaka; and Sylhet Osmani Medical College and Hospital, Sylhet.
∎ Under the direction of the study PIs and Director, PRF, the Project Manager will be responsible for overall management of the ACTION-III trial for effective and quality implementation. S/he will be responsible for planning, execution and study related communications with all four hospital authorities (Co-Investigators) in consultation with Director, PRF. S/he will prepare and review study reports, identify gaps and potential solutions and communicate to Co-PIs and Investigators. S/he will be also responsible for administrative management of staff and resources. S/he ensures effective and efficient use of project's resources and materials.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 7 years professional experience with exposure to MNCH project/research management, project design, and evaluation. Experience to manage clinical trial will be given preference
∎ Experience in program management and administration, financial management, award compliance, and tracking activity performance and costs
∎ Strong in written and verbal English and Bangla communications
∎ Skilled in MS Office software
