Job Context:
∎ Mahideb Jubo Somaj Kallayan Somity (MJSKS) is a NGO is looking for a qualified Project Manager (PM) for `Combating impacts of climate change in severely affected areas of Bangladesh Project`.
∎ Supported by: NETZ Bangladesh
∎ Job Nature: Full-time up to project period based on performance
∎ Job Location: Bhurangamari Upazila, Kurigram
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years working experiences with proven skill and competencies in Sustainable livelihood, climate change and resilience. Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the programme ; management and monitoring of programme staff; design and implementation of trainings, workshops; seminar, programme documentation and reporting; coordination of monthly action plans and team meetings; coordination of national dialogue and learning trips; communication with authorities; local advocacy; crisis management (if necessary) etc.
∎ Proven experiences on program planning, implementation, budgeting, financial management, staff management, report writing and monitoring & evaluation. Clear conception/ understanding on livelihood, human rights and mainstreaming gender and right based project dynamics. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bengali. The applicant should have computer skill on MS word, Excel, Power point and others. Experience on network/linkage/collaboration with union/upazila/district level administration and national level network and like-minded organizations. Should have Motor bike driving license. Willing to stay at upazila level with frequent visit to the remote areas.
Salary:
∎ Monthly gross salary BDT- 46,000 (Maximum)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ 1 festival bonus and 1 gratuity equivalent to 1 month gross salary each
