Job Context:
∎ This position has overall responsibility for the management of all project activities of 36 months for PERSIST Bangladesh Program. It is a 3-year project that will use a multi-pronged approach to empower girls and young women to exert greater control over SRHR decision-making and the factors that drive CEFM with the support of their families and communities. Together with local women-led partner organization Uttaran, the project will build the capacity of community and healthy ecosystems to provide gender-responsive and adolescent-friendly SRHR and CEFM information and services. The project seeks to contribute to the ultimate outcome of "Enhanced realization of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights of Girls and Young Women (10-24 years old) in Bagherhat and Sathkira districts of Bangladesh." The Project Manager will responsible for the overall implementation of the Project`s activities in the Project area coordinating with the staffs and partner/s. S/he will supervise one Finance Coordinator, one M&E Coordinator, one Public Health Coordinator, one Advocacy, BCC & CP Coordinator and one Gender & SRHR Coordinator.
∎ S/he will be representing the project in the District and Upazila level with the Government office especially DC, CS, DD-Edu, UNO, Upazila Chairman, UH&FPO, DWA, DSS, Primary & Secondary Education, Union Parishad Chairman, local partners. S/he will also represent World Vision Bangladesh in the District and Upazila level.
∎ The Project Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of the goal and outcomes of the project and will regularly report progress in achieving them at Bagerhat and Satkhira District. S/he will prepare project planning, budget preparing, training & workshop facilitation and also support to Director Field operations; prepare all reports and document properly on time and all other required activities to ensure smooth operations of the project. S/he will also be responsible for managing the field-level implementation of the partners of the project. Conduct regular field visits, meeting and follow up with partners and will provide the necessary support to the field team and develop the capacity of project and partner staff.
∎ This position will report to the Director Field Operations of Zone-2, World Vision Bangladesh.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To provide leadership in achieving the organizational vision, mission, goal and outcomes of the project mobilizing, staff and local partners and other project resources
∎ To manage the project team and build their capacity through ongoing coaching for performance
∎ To lead technical and support team members in project implementation in accordance with the standards of programming and the requirements of WV and the donor including financial and M&E functions
∎ To ensure high standard of stewardship, transparency and accountability in resource mobilization, allocation, utilization in compliance with WV Financial Policies and procedures.
∎ To manage the relationship with local partners, NGOs, FBOs, CSGs and Government counterpart ensuring that project objectives under which they are responsible are achieved, its field implementation is managed and coordinated;
∎ To ensure & explore project performance through review and impact evaluation of the project
∎ To ensure an effective communication process in which Zonal Office, National Office, Donors, Partners and Key Stakeholders can get authentic data and information about the project achievement
∎ To ensure planning, monitoring & budgeting as per project design
∎ To ensure documentation and reporting to WVB management and donor/s as per requirements in time with quality
∎ To take capacity building initiative for project staff as well as partner
∎ To enhance community-led & participatory monitoring for their own development
∎ To build community capacity for their sustainability
∎ To perform other duties as may be assigned by the WVB

∎ At least 5 years of demonstrated experience of project management, including multi-sector programs, preferably experience of working in the fields of Public Health, Nutrition, Child Rights and Social Justice at least 3 years in project experience.
∎ People management experience.
∎ Able to create a working environment where team members have equal rights to listen, speak up and contribute to achieving a common goal of the project
∎ Must be willing and able to travel nationally up to 12 weeks per annum.
Salary: Tk. 100000 - 110000 (Monthly)
