Additional Requirements:
  • Age At least 25 years
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience managing interior design or architectural projects.

  • A well-documented portfolio showcasing successful projects, including commercial or hospitality interiors.

  • Knowledge of diverse design styles and trends to accommodate client preferences.

  • Flexibility to travel to different project locations.

  • Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends, as project deadlines may require intensive time commitment.

  • Ability to handle unexpected challenges or changes during the project, such as delays in materials, design revisions, or budget adjustments.

  • Should possess relevant Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max or V-Ray, etc).



Responsibilities & Context:

Project Planning and Development

  • Define the project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Team Leadership and Coordination

  • Lead, supervise, and manage the interior design team, including architects, designers, contractors, and vendors.

  • Assign tasks, ensure team members have the necessary resources, and monitor performance.

  • Foster effective communication and collaboration within the project team and external partners.

Budget Management

  • Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring all expenses align with client expectations and financial constraints.

  • Monitor expenditures, approve costs, and identify areas for cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

  • Provide regular financial updates to stakeholders and make adjustments as necessary.

Client and Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as the main point of contact between clients and the project team, ensuring clear communication on design expectations, changes, and progress.

  • Conduct regular project update meetings and presentations for clients and stakeholders.

  • Address client concerns and ensure the design meets their vision and objectives.

Quality Control and Assurance

  • Oversee all phases of design and implementation to ensure the project meets high-quality standards.

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor the work progress, ensure adherence to the design, and resolve any emerging issues.

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards.

Vendor and Supplier Management

  • Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other third-party service providers.

  • Ensure materials and furnishings are delivered on time and meet the project specifications.

  • Manage contracts and ensure vendors adhere to agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Risk Management

  • Anticipate potential challenges and issues that could impact the project’s success.

  • Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate risks related to design changes, budget overruns, or delays.

  • Ensure safety standards and best practices are followed on the project site.

Timeline Management

  • Set realistic deadlines for different stages of the project and ensure that all tasks are completed on time.

  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and the design team to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of work.

  • Proactively address any delays and develop strategies to get the project back on track.

Post-Project Support

  • Conduct a final walkthrough with the client to ensure all work is completed to their satisfaction.

  • Oversee the resolution of any punch-list items or last-minute changes.

  • Provide ongoing support for maintenance, warranties, and future design adjustments if required.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design plans, contracts, permits, budgets, and progress reports.

  • Prepare and submit detailed reports on project status, budget, and timelines to stakeholders regularly.

  • Ensure all design and construction documentation is archived for future reference or audits.
