Academic qualification flexible for highly experienced candidate. With minimum 2nd division/class or GPA/CGPA 2.50 in all examinations.

∎ Position: Project Manger
∎ Job Location: Paikgacha with the regular field visit to the project areas
∎ No. of Position: One (Full Time)
∎ Nature of job: Contractual, 32 months/ up to project duration - March 2026
∎ Reporting to: Project Focal Person

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Major Job Responsibilities:
∎ The main responsibility of this position is to ensure the project is running smoothly, on time and to budget. Duties typically include planning certain parts of the project, monitoring its progress, coordinating meetings and overseeing members of the project team.
∎ Specific Job Responsibilities (Specific duties include but are not limited to):
∎ Develop monthly/quarterly/bi-annual/annual project plan including budget of respective project area.
∎ Execute project activities as per the approved plan and budget.
∎ Play proactive role in supervision and management of project personnel, project resources and assets.
∎ Able to take decisions for appropriate solution of field problems in consultation with senior management
∎ Coordinate with government officials (Social Welfare Department, Youth Development Department, Women & Child Affairs Department and other relevant departments) for exploring capacity building and alternative livelihood options.
∎ Coordinate with other NGOs, CBOs and relevant stakeholders for their support for successful implementation of the project.
∎ Support in organizing training events, seminar, workshop, campaigns in coordination with internal/external stakeholders.
∎ Work closely with Project Engineers for effective implementation of hardware interventions of the project.
∎ Support in conduction of study, assessment, evaluation conducted by internal/external agencies.
∎ Support in monitoring the project performance following an appropriate monitoring system/tool
∎ Ensure the monitoring system and tools are developed and used to track the progress of project implementation and to capture learning
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual progress reports, learning and good practice documents and disseminate to donor and head office
∎ Support in procurement process for the project related procurements
∎ Have knowledge on project planning and management in line with output and outcomes and effective implementation of project activities.
∎ Have knowledge multiyear budget preparation considering planning & implementation phase, cost effective operation of project activities following set guidelines
∎ Prepare project progress reports with relevant stakeholders as per the project and donor needs
∎ Work with a team and build their capacity through coaching, mentoring and regular meetings in line of quality assurance
∎ Arrange donor visit / maintain coordination with donor by showing impact and meet their expectation, even go beyond that.
∎ Assess the performance of the staff and take appropriate measures accordingly
∎ Have experience on sectorial advocacy and networking to lead rigorous advocacy initiatives under the project priorities
∎ Work closely with relevant sectors for successful implementation of Shyasthya Nirapotta Sceme.
∎ Maintain liaison with city corporation/municipal authorities for their engagement and contribution in project interventions. Any other tasks relating to the project as may be advised by project authority.
∎ Lead and maintain donor requirements, regulations, and laws related to the organisation's donor-funded projects and follow up it with the internal stakeholders to meet the requirements timely
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding issues among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 7 years' experience of project cycle management, preferably with NGO's, working with low income people in urban contexts. Working experience on WaterAid Bangladesh funded project will be given preference.
∎ Proven ability in the management of large integrated programs.
∎ Sufficient experience to provide strong leadership in strengthening capacity of LGIs and other government agencies.
∎ Excellent computer operation skills including Microsoft excel, MS word, Power point, email and internet browsing.
∎ Good interpersonal skills, has demonstrated proactive roles in team work, excellent report writing skill and speaking skill in both spoken & written in English & Bengali.
∎ Ability to ride motorbike with having valid driving license.
∎ Have to be gender sensitive with sound knowledge and experience on WASH and IGA issues.

Salary:
∎ Monthly salary BDT 48000-50000 (gross) with two festival bonus and annual salary increment as per policy.
