Job Context:
∎ Project: Combating Gender Based Violence (CGBV)
∎ Funded by: SIDA
∎ Supported by: Manusher Janno Foundation (MJF)
∎ Reportable to: Project Officer of Combating Gender Based Violence (CGBV) Project
∎ Working Place: Ulipur Upazila under Kurigram district.
∎ Strong knowledge skill & experience on gender women rights.
∎ Clear concept on gender based violence & process to reduce the gender based violence.
∎ Strong knowledge, skill & experience to work with local government instruction like Union Perished, Upazila Perished.
∎ Strong knowledge, skill & experience on social accountability tools to implement in Union Porishod & others instruction
∎ Have knowledge & experience on public hearing and its implementation at Upazila/ Union level by involvement wao and Thana.
∎ Have knowledge & experience to work with govt. Department like: Upazila Porishod, Upazila women affairs office, police station and hospital & Union Porishod etc.
∎ Have ability to strengthening the capacity of local government instruction
∎ Have efficiency to establish linkage with Go, Ngo & others level.
∎ Have experience knowledge on PRA Tools, group formation & report writing.
∎ Knowledge, skill & experience to work with, men, women, adolescent & youth.
∎ Strong knowledge & experience to facilitate the group session at group & others stockholder
∎ Capacity and monitor the field activities in successful manner.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct PRA with community people
∎ Identifying the knowledge and education gap on rights gender based violence issues.
∎ Prepare education session plan based the knowledge and practice gap.
∎ Conduct baseline survey identify the beneficiaries.
∎ Formation the women and youth group focused on poor and marginalized.
∎ Conduct regular education session with the group and adolescent (boy & girl) of school.
∎ Organize for from the civil society committee to reduce gender based violence.
∎ Regular meeting with youth, ward Sava, civil society and UP standing committee.
∎ Facilitate participant's activities in monitoring and analyzing their learning progress and planning new activities.
∎ Organize and mobilization of community people and mass awareness program.
∎ Identify constrains related to project implementation and work with the participants to solve these problems.
∎ Organize Training / Workshop with community influential persons.
∎ Assists to youth and civil society, ward committee for shalish of victim woman and girls.
∎ Prepare and complete field schedules.
∎ Provide necessary written quantitative and qualitative data/ information including field observation to ST for preparing monitoring and other reports.
∎ Maintain effective liaison with local elite village youth volunteer group..
∎ Send monthly report to Supervisor cum trainer time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 2 years working experience in development area.
∎ At least 2 years practical experience to implement social accountability tools (SAT) related activities.
∎ Experience in networking and community mobilization.
∎ Candidate have experience to work with gender based violence related project
∎ Candidates have to drive Motor cycle and should have valid driving license.
∎ If any papers/certificate to work with local govt. Instruction and Social accountability tools.
∎ Age not more than 35
∎ To have national ID card

Salary:
∎ Gross salary taka: 15,000/- per month and other Benefits as per project policy
