Job Context:
∎ New Zealand Disaster Response Partnership (NZDRP) Learn to Live (L2L) Project aims to meet the immediate and long-term protection and nutrition needs through targeted skill-based training for women and gender-based violence awareness activities for men and women in Cox`s Bazar, Bangladesh. The hereby proposed project intervention aims to:
∎ 1. Decreased human suffering associated with natural or human induced disaster.
∎ 2. Rohingya communities are accessing safe places and networks for learning and support.
∎ 3. Male Rohingya change agents are advocating reducing Gender Based Violence and Child Marriage.
∎ 4. Improved nutrition in Rohingya households.
∎ The purpose of the position is to implement the project smoothly and better coordination with internal and external coordination. The Project Coordinator will support the project team, Sector Lead food Security and Livelihood, GAG, SCM, Finance & Grant Finance team, P&C and Admin team. The PC will build up a strong relationship with Government bodies (CIC Personnel) and other stakeholders like Site management, Protection, Health, Nutrition, Education sector and other related NGO /INGO. Regular donor communication and report writing.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ S/he will be managing the project team, such as Project Officer Livelihood, Project Officer GBV and Protection, Field Assistant, Prevention Assistant, Case Management Assistant, Facilitators/Volunteers, and engagement with stakeholders as well as ensuring the quality, timeliness, and efficiency of all products and activities generated under the respective grants.
∎ Provide all support to project team to implement project intervention like Skill Training, Kitchen Gardening, Modern Vegetable Nursery, GBV- Mencare, Child Forum, Cooking Demo, Nutrition and DRR Session.
∎ Manage the assigned project(s) to meet the project objectives within budget, set time frame, quality, and standards.
∎ Support to Sector Lead and GAM team for preparing donor report and project proposal.
∎ Provide strong leadership of the assigned project(s), working to ensure both short / long-term positive impacts and outcomes for the beneficiaries, local authorities (where applicable) and local staffs.
∎ Develop and implement an appropriate and effective project strategy, setting clear objectives and indicators, for Livelihoods & GBV activities in consultation with other staff and field managers, and, where appropriate, with the local communities.
∎ Support to organize trainings, orientations and session to PO, FA, CF and Project participants.
∎ Support to capacity buildup of CLC Management Committee, Skill Trainer, Community Facilitator, Watchman, Livelihood participants, and other support members.
∎ Coordinate with WV senior management, CIC, Site Management and Food and Livelihood sector and relevant other NGO/INGO.
∎ Lookover mainstream protection, accountability, gender, disability and environmental protection.
∎ Ensure all document guiding implementation such as budgets, DIPs, projections are prepared, updated and used correctly.
∎ Ensure that projects are initiated by developing project designs with program teams and developing budgets with finance team and the Programme Development Unit.
∎ Ensure needs assessments and surveys conducted, data analyzed and suggestions made for appropriate interventions as need arises.
∎ Regular monitoring and reporting of project implementation.
∎ Timely Submission of quality narrative reports to line manager on project progress, program team and donors.
∎ Line manages the staff(s) of the assigned project(s), including day-to-day management, development and training etc.
∎ Take responsibility for discussing job expectations appraise performance against set objectives on a regular basis.
∎ Overall responsibility for staff work plans, vacation schedules, and development activities and maintain a professional and open relation with team members, promoting a strong spirit and providing oversight and guidance to allow for successful team performance.
∎ Maintain and create strategic partnerships and networks with donors, UN, and other NGOs.
∎ Actively participate in Cluster meetings to ensure WV programming information is shared and request for cluster mechanisms are responded.
∎ Keep and share information from INGO meetings, government correspondences and internal World Vision Lessons Learned.
∎ Ensure that World Vision is represented in coordination forums and review meetings.
∎ Foster formal government at all levels and community engagement and coordination.
∎ Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Must have knowledge and skills of project implementation.
∎ Ability to work in different target groups.
∎ Oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali.
∎ Ability to work in a team.
∎ Work under pressure and can take additional responsibilities.
∎ Proven experience in Project Coordinator or Project Manager in INGO in Livelihood Program aligned with GBV, DRR and Nutrition intervention.
∎ Partners support working experience.
∎ People management experience.
∎ Able to create a working environment where team members have equal rights to listen, speak up and contribute to achieve a common goal of the project.
