Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's in Public Health, Sociology, Economics, Development Studies, or related studies

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure technical assessments and surveys conducted, data analyzed and suggestions made for appropriate interventions as needed.
∎ Timely submission of narrative reports to line manager on project progress, program team and donors
∎ Contribute to the development of the country strategy, new projects and/or donor proposals.
∎ Maintain and create strategic partnerships and networks with Government/ARRRC, CiC, UN agencies, local partners and other NGOs.
∎ Actively participate in the technical working group and ensure that World Vision is represented in coordination forums and review meetings.
∎ Be responsible for operation and maintenances of WASH infrastructure that may include, but are not limited to: Construction or rehabilitation of water networks, gravity flow systems, wells or boreholes, Implementation of latrines or other sanitation facilities.
∎ Develop technical guidelines, management tools, positioning documents etc.
∎ Identify and monitor risks, constraints or escalating issues, and inform the hierarchy accordingly.
∎ Plan and manage project budget, and control/authorize expenditure.
∎ Ensure the careful use, regular servicing and appropriate replacement of all equipment, within budgetary constraints, for the assigned project(s).
∎ Manage and oversee the assigned team including recruitment, day-to-day management, development and training, appraisals, etc.
∎ On-job coaching and technical supervision to develop ownership / responsibility for WASH activities

Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent coordination capacity with individuals, community group representatives, NGOs, WASH officers, and government officials.
∎ Knowledge on the humanitarian principles, SPHERE standard, Core Humanitarian standard is essential
∎ Familiarity with the issues around water, sanitation and hygiene related issues and behaviors.
∎ Familiarities of using KoBO/other online survey tools and
∎ methods of data collection.
∎ Experience of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques
∎ Acquaintance with the UN system and the humanitarian community
∎ Good spoken and written Bangla and English.

Salary: Negotiable
