Educational Requirements:
∎ Master degree in any discipline preferably in Project management/development studies/ Social studies/Social welfare/ Psychology/Women and Gender Studies/Public Administration.

Job Context:
∎ The Protection coordinator is responsible for leading GBV & CP team to enhance the project goal through implementing of overall project activities with quality and proper planning and child protection program ensuring quality of delivery and mainstreaming of child protection into the response and host community, in line with the strategic programming priorities as defined by the Bangladesh Crisis Response Program. S/he will work closely with project Officers to provide relevant technical expertise and informed support to quality programming with particular emphasis on CP mainstreaming in other sectors, department, LSBE, CP case management, child friendly spaces, Youth Programmes and CP documentation based on evidence of impact and organizational learning.
∎ H/She will report under DFAT-AHP project with the coordination of consortium partners, Camp in Charge(CIC), like-minded organization, UNO, UP Chairman and key stakeholder. S/he will provide training and technical support to GBV & CP staff and consortium partner to ensure the overall interventions of project priorities to enhance the organizational strategy. s/he will be technically sound, take into accounts best practices, and are appropriately meeting the needs of target beneficiaries e.g. PWD’s, women, girls and men in the targeted refugee.
∎ The GBV & CP coordinator will report to Consortium Manager and matrix line is GBV & CP Lead. S/he will work closely with Partners, Finance, SCM, Coms, MEAL, Govt liaison dept. and Programs to ensure the essentials of the projects is within the required standards. GBV & CP coordinator is expected to have strong leadership qualities and both the management and technical expertise. S/he also provides strategic leadership while ensuring the quality and sustainability of the program and contribution to the intended project outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for coordinating project staffs, act as the key person for the project.
∎ Prepare DIP, ITT, report(s) etc.
∎ Support implementation of Response strategy activities across all sectors
∎ Provide technical leadership in GBV & CP prevention and response programming, supporting and empowering partners and WV staff to creative, effective and comprehensive programming.
∎ Provide technical support on design of service and activities of the project and support WV staff and partner organizations through trainings and monitoring.
∎ Build capacity of project staff and partner organizations and work closely with MEAL to ensure reliable M&E systems, better data management, and ethical GBV & CP data collection and information management.
∎ Provide technical support to ensure program quality inclusive of regular technical monitoring of case management and PSS service under the program.
∎ Regularly attend GBV & CP cluster meetings at appropriate levels to feed into WV priorities in the field.
∎ Ensure field concerns are brought to relevant stakeholders to push for standard and procedures that systemize GBV & CP implementation and coordination in the field.
∎ Co-ordinate with WV sectors and partners for implementation of the project.
∎ Monitor and follow-up to ensure the activity on track.
∎ Raise Purchase request (PR) and closely work with finance for implementation related issues.
∎ Prepare DIP, ITT; provide support to prepare cash flow, monitoring plan, Consolidate plan for implementation. Work closely with program team.
∎ Lead GBV & CP team meeting, or any meeting related to the project.
∎ Motivate and ensure teamwork among prevention, response and empowerment teams.
∎ Work in liaison with CIC, Camp management agencies, service providers, community leaders and other stakeholders to ensure effective project implementation.
∎ Take full responsibility for quality implementation of case management services, awareness activities including campaigns, all activities at the women safe spaces and skills development activities for women and girls.
∎ Coordinate with all sector based agencies in the camps to ensure compliance to inter agency and World Vision International standards for implementing GBV & CP in emergencies as well as gender mainstreaming.
∎ Organize meetings with women, men and boys to ensure effective participation and support in the respective project activities especially with PWDs.
∎ Develop regular monthly, quarterly and annual project management documents including implementation plans and reports
∎ Actively support pre-distribution & post –distribution activities for dignity kit distribution i.e. beneficiary assessment and sensitization
∎ Build capacity of project staffs and case workers, prevention team and skills building staff to effectively deliver services to the targeted beneficiaries.
∎ Ensure internal and external case management reviews are regularly conducted in order to improve service delivery.
∎ Enhance and train women, men, community leaders, boys and girls on GBV & CP prevention and response.
∎ Ensure updated referral pathway for safe linking up survivors who wish to disclose and seek support for their GBV & CP experiences with GBV & CP case management services offered at the women space
∎ Ensure updated information is disseminated to the community on where and how to report GBV & CP incidences and encourage reporting
∎ Document and share key GBV & CP risks identified during implementation
∎ Engage the community in participatory exercise to develop context specific IEC materials and messages to facilitate community level sessions.
∎ Organize the awareness raising, campaign event/program in communities’ level at camp area coordinating with different stakeholders.
∎ Establish and liaise closely with other partners, agencies and local leaders regarding project activities to ensure a coordinated approach to project implementation, including participation in relevant workshops, meetings and to keep the Program, GBV, CP and WASH sector lead informed.
∎ Participate in interagency assessments.
∎ Budget preparations to ensure cost of project initiatives are appropriately budgeted.
∎ Ensure procurement and spending is aligned with the technical needs of the program.
∎ Track and manage project budget lines.
∎ Ensure timely reporting in line with the donors requirements.
∎ When relevant and required will participate in in the hiring process of staff
∎ Actively build the capacity of the program staff and ensure team work among all team members as well as other WV staff.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Clear Understanding on project management.
∎ Knowledge on Humanitarian Response
∎ Good conceptual and practical skill to write reports, project concept paper and design documents of the project.
∎ Good knowledge and skills in forecasting and budgeting
∎ Baseline survey, Evaluation and Monitoring process and tools.
∎ Good facilitation skill of Training, Seminar and Advocacy programs.
∎ Experience to lead/coordinate Consortium projects
∎ Deep knowledge in disability inclusion, GBV/protection and Wash sector. Experience in preparing DIP, ITT, Monitoring plan, procurement plan, Cash flow etc.
∎ Chittagong/Rohingya and Bengali language skills will add value. Very Good command in English both written and verbal is essential.
∎ Decision making and conflict resolution skills
∎ Competent in using MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint presentation
∎ Ability to work under stressful condition and adaptive to local culture and situation
