Experience:
Master’s degree in social science, agricultural discipline with professional background in agriculture, food security, aquaculture, WASH & Nutrition and other relevant development fields.
Understand contextual dynamics.
Strong understanding of current developments, research and trends in the field of market development and e-commerce.
Experience in Integrated project implementation specially livelihood, agriculture, WASH, nutrition etc.
Skill in project coordination, collaboration and networking in humanitarian context
Practical working experience in multi-sectoral program management such as in home/kitchen/sack gardening, Waste management, Aquaculture field
Technical assistance to the project staff for effective implementation Experience in training, finance, field monitoring, targeting and selection of vulnerable population
Knowledge on programming resources and tools for the economic development program.
Good time management and organizing skills.
Proven experience as a team player.
Demonstrated collaboration skills.
Excellent Computer skills in MS office, and use of gadgets
The Project Coordinator is accountable for overall implementation of Green Workforce Development in Camp & Host Project activities. The project coordinator is responsible for planning, implementation, technical assistance, monitoring and evaluation, reporting and coordination with implementing partner and local stakeholders. S/he will work closely with sector leads of WVB, and liaise with relevant Government Departments, I/NGOs, UN bodies/clusters and private sector entities.
Ensure project is operational by technical standards and operational viability:
Startup of the project including office set up, onboarding project staff
All program implemented as per standards.
Monthly budget burn consistently more than 90%.
Developed monthly implementation and budget execution plan updated in quarterly basis
Organized monthly/quarterly meetings with key stakeholders;
Provided updates or reports to the Lead – HNWS sector and WVK;
External Engagement:
Act as the key person of the project for implementation.
Represent WVB at Camp & Upazila level.
Identified and suggestion provided on collaborative opportunities for training, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation, assessments, program quality checks, etc., as appropriate.
Organizing review meetings for partners and communities at the project sites to reflect on program/project approaches, tools, impact of interventions, best practices, exit and sustainability strategies as well as create spaces and opportunities for action-learning and debate.
Ensure proper office Administration Management through effective administrative functions:
Ensured the effective management of all aspects of physical security of the building and grounds and protection of all assets and reported against loss or damage.
Ensured fleet (vehicles/motorcycles) are properly utilized and any loss of essential documents by the user must be reported to the authority.
Ensured office management system as per WVB guidance.
Internal coordination:
Coordinated with all internal relevant department and sectors for smooth operation of the project such as administration, human resources, logistics and procurement, safety and security, communications, etc.
Staff management and capacity building:
Staff on boarded timely.
Conducted staff assessment and Set performance goal.
Provided coaching, mentoring and capacity building training.
