Job Context:
∎ Project: Building Resilience Against Violent Extremism
∎ Project Period: 3 years
∎ Accountable to: Project Manager
∎ Coordination and Communication:Training Specialist, M&E Manager, Director-Finance & Administration, Director (Program) and Deputy Country Director
∎ Working Area: 3 Upazila of Bagerhat District
∎ Duty Station: Bagerhat
∎ Joining Time: March/April 2020

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manages the day to day operations of project by facilitating professional work process to ensure alignment with the established policies & procedures and in order to high performance standards.
∎ Develop an implementation plan for project team and provide clear direction and ensure that project staff knows what is expected to them.
∎ Lead, supervise and monitor the project field staffs/team.
∎ Ensure the projects procedures, the required deliverables, the required standard of quality within the specified constraints of time and cost.
∎ Work closely with M&E unit to develop and implement M & E tools.
∎ Keeps an accurate record and electronic data base of all elements of the projects.
∎ Strictly look after the financial management of the project.
∎ Maintain close relationship with local political leaders, member of the civil society, religious leaders, and others stakeholders of the project to ensure their support to achieve the project goal.
∎ Continuously review information and learning from field visit in order to advise the Project Manager for strengthen project management.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual narrative project reports.
∎ Any other work required by project management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Proficiency in English, both verbal and written is necessary.
∎ Minimum 8 years experiences in mid-level managerial position in non-profit organizations
∎ Sound knowledge on project management, project cycle, and result based management.
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, creativity, resourcefulness and flexibility
∎ Exceptional transformative leadership skills
∎ Strong team-building, representational and diplomatic skills and building relationship.
∎ Proven interpersonal and intercultural skills, including flexibility and sensitivity
∎ Sound knowledge of country's socio-political and religious culture, and social development issues, diversity and pluralism as well as reason of raising of radicalization and extremism.
∎ Good connection with political parties, civil society, local political leaders, social activist and religious leaders.
∎ Skills in Microsoft words, excel and PowerPoint
