Experience:

• 1 to 2 years

Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.

• 1 to 2 years

• Minimum of 1/2 years of experience in project management, preferably in rights-based projects.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience working with indigenous communities will be an advantage.

Ethnic Community Development Organization (ECDO) is a nonprofit, non-government voluntary development organization working for the development of various indigenous communities in the Sylhet region, Bangladesh with the United Nations (UN) special consultative ECOSOC Status organization since 2016. Oxfam in Bangladesh is implementing the project Empowering Women Through Civil Society Actors (EWCSA) in Bangladesh, Co Funded by European Union to empower marginalized women working in informal and marginalized occupations in Bangladesh, to influence governance and development processes. We are pleased to announce that we have received a project from Oxfam Bangladesh aimed at developing leadership among tea labor women. To ensure the successful implementation of this project, we are seeking to recruit qualified and dedicated individuals for the following positions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall project planning, implementation, and monitoring.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, including community members, local authorities, and Oxfam Bangladesh.
• Ensure project activities are aligned with the project goals and objectives.
• Prepare and submit regular project reports to ECDO and Oxfam Bangladesh.
• Manage the project team and provide necessary guidance and support.
