Experience:
Bachelor of Science (BSc), Master of Science (MSc)·
B. Sc. Engineering/4 Years BSc in any subject with minimum 10 years of proven experience in program management, preferably in TVET and skills development projects. Or
M.Sc. Engineering/MS in any subject with minimum 7 years of proven experience in program management preferably in TVET and skills development projects.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in youth development, with a strong focus on skills training programs or the TVET sector, is required. Additionally, at least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager leading technical skills development projects is essential.·
CBTA certification would be added advantage. ·
Demonstrated experience in managing skills development projects, including technical and vocational education and training (TVET), with a strong focus on youth engagement, enterprise development, and life skills.·
In-depth understanding of TVET pedagogy, vocational training models, and the operation of vocational training centers, including the development and implementation of tracking management systems.·
Extensive experience overseeing large, complex donor-funded projects, ensuring all technical requirements and deliverables are met in line with project work plans, with a preference for experience managing GoB/WB-funded projects.·
Ensure 100% admission in various training courses.
Conduct Training Needs Analysis and devise employee development plans. ·
Evaluate employee performance
Job Context:
Academy of Information Technology (AIT) is a non Govt. well reputed & Pioneer training providing Institution in Cox’s Bazar has been working relentlessly from 2012.AIT aims to build skilled human resource through providing skill based training on different trades & Vocations. Meanwhile AIT Provided thousands training on different courses and most of people who received training are in good condition now through engaging in different jobs & own business.
In line with this AIT is implementing a project the intervention name is “Supporting skills development for the Hospitality & Tourism Sector in Cox’s Bazar’.
This project title is PRABRIDDHI, a Local Economic Development (LED) initiative, funded by the Governments of Bangladesh and Switzerland. It is co-implemented by the Local Government Division (LGD) and Swiss contact. Implemented by AIT.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Strategy Development and Implementation:
Design and implement LED activities and strategies, analyzing economic potentials at the local level.
Incorporate TVET strategies to enhance skills development aligned with local economic opportunities.
Monitor project plans, schedules, budgets, and expenditures.
Address implementation challenges and propose mitigation strategies.
2. Stakeholder Management
Engage with local government bodies, private sector actors, and other stakeholders.
Build the capacity of local organizations to implement sustainable LED and TVET initiatives.
Foster partnerships with TVET institutions and employers to align training with market needs.
Maintain regular communication to adapt implementation strategies based on evolving contexts.
3. Monitoring, Reporting, Results Measurement, and Learning:
Track progress of project activities and adjust as needed.
Collaborate with the Monitoring and Results Measurement team to prepare reports.
Foster a learning culture within the team and share insights with peer coordinators.
Support the organization of workshops and seminars to disseminate project learnings.
Compile detailed progress reports that include updates on project milestones, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, depending on the project`s requirements.
Share with project stakeholders, funders, and team members.
