Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Agriculture or Bachelor's degree with one year development-related field experience (micro/home gardening/crop production project, work with farmers)

Job Context:
∎ The Project Assistant of WV WFP, Self-Reliance Project will be based on field office assisting the PO-AG & Training Supervisor to ensure the quality, efficient and effective delivery of project activities. The position will responsible for the direct field implementation of all kinds of activities. Assist to PO-AG & Training Supervisor to do including the liaison with the Government Department, liaison with other WVB projects to ensure the services are well integrated and well-coordinated.
∎ The Project Assistant will work closely and assist the PO-AG & Training Supervisor to establish humanitarian accountability feedback mechanisms in all activities. The Assistant will assist the AO to ensure that all monitoring systems are in place and are functional, and that the feedback from the monitoring system is being utilized to improve program implementation. The Assistant will assist PO-AG & Training Supervisor for documenting success stories from group/individual and works closely with the Communications and Advocacy to report on the success stories.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in the efficient and effective delivery of project’s services
∎ o Assist the supervisor to develop plans and develop schedules.
∎ o Assist to Identify and select Rohingya male and female youth for homestead gardening.
∎ o Ensure gardeners with technical backstopping/solutions at Demo centered involving technical personnel of DAE.
∎ o Assist to ensure inputs and incentives among the gardeners.
∎ Assist in Coordination and integration of other WV services
∎ o Assist the supervisor in working with the MEAL team to develop the MEAL structures and system.
∎ o Assist the supervisor to ensure that feedback from HA structures and system and feedback from Monitoring systems is used to improve the quality and implementation of the interventions.
∎ o Assist the supervisor to update partners, and relevant stakeholders on required DME process, standard and systems.
∎ Assist the Supervisor in Reporting and Accounting
∎ o Assist the supervisor for reporting and tracking all commodities, non-food items.
∎ o Assist the supervisor for internal weekly, monthly and quarterly donor reporting.
∎ o Assist the supervisor in working in collaboration with the Communications Unit to document success stories.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in facilitating session/training and cash distribution.
∎ Experience in field monitoring and selection of vulnerable population
∎ Reporting and accounting experience needed
∎ Experience in project implementation, monitoring, evaluation and report writing useful.
∎ Good in communication, interpersonal skills and cross-cultural sensitivity.
∎ Effective in written and oral communication; able to speak and write with a high standard of English.
∎ Local Language to understand Rohingya people
∎ Experience working in an office environment and able to use a computer (word for windows, excel software) and email is essential.
∎ Good time management and organizational skills
∎ Competent in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs
∎ Good analytical skill
∎ Creativity and innovation
