• Masters of Commerce (M Com) in Accounting/Management.

• The educational qualification is subject to consider if the candidate deemed exceptional experienced

• Experience on online accounting system specially Tally will be given preference.
• Should have learning attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain deadlines.
• Knowledge on ICT particularly on accounting software, MS Excel, MS Word, Power Point.
• Have mentality to live at working area.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in local language and proficiency in English is essential.
• Experience in NGO activities.
• Must be emotionally stable and willing to serve the poor and work with the community.
• Ability to drive motorcycle with valid driving license.

PARI Development Trust is a national NGO registered with NGOAB working in greater Mymensingh. PARI is implementing community development, maternal & child health, nutrition, food Security & livelihood, agriculture and child rights program in several Upazilas of Mymensingh, Netrokona, Sunamganj, Jamalpur, Sherpur and Tangail districts. In connection to that, PARI is seeking for 2 project accountants for the following 2 projects -

• "Making Markets work for the Last Mile (M4L)”. This project focuses on engaging marginal male and female farmers with agricultural activities using sustainable agriculture methods to meet their basic needs and nutrition as well as increase production, income and Agro-based income generating activities for the well-being of their family and community and thus transform their lives as a long-term impact in Jamalpur District.

• “Child, Youth and Community for Change (CYCC)” project which is implementing at Bokshiganj in Jamalpur district. This project focuses on child and youth rights, livelihood, health and protection. This project is working on to promote child rights, youth rights by engaging children, young girls and boys, adult men and women through child, youth clubs and self-help groups.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare Project budget.

• Entry day to day accountants in on-line software system specially Tally, off-line.

• Support to prepare FD-6 of the project for NGO bureau.

• Maintain office stocks and maintain effective use of office vehicle, equipment`s.

• Perform regular financial monitoring system as per organization policy.

• Networking with Government`s and Non-Government`s Office.

• Communicate with Donor for financial report.

• Prepare all necessary papers for external and internal audit.

• Support to Project activities.

• Experience on managing market development or market chain project.

• Must be good at financial monitoring of project initiatives.

• Good knowledge and practical experiences in business plan development with breakeven point for project facilitated Enterprises i.e. collection point, small holder farmers etc.

• Assist enterprises maintaining and managing operations i.e. human resource planning, record / book keeping / day to day planning, customer/ user enlisting etc.

• Assist enterprises to develop proper financial literacy documents.

• Assist enterprises to develop distribution and marketing plan with necessary materials to develop.

• Assist enterprises to develop and manage income statement, balanced sheet and cash flow statement etc.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, half monthly and yearly financial report.

• Prepare monthly salary and preserved all vouchers.

• Maintain fixed assets.

• Staffs documents filing properly.

• Strong Knowledge on Vat and Tax policy.

• Maintenance of cash and Bank book.

• Attend monthly meeting, Training, Workshop.

• Excellent Knowledge on computer operating system.

• Strong Knowledge on procurement procedure.

• Team work mentality.

• Project Accountant for M4L project: Tk. 42,098 per month in probationary period and upon successful completion of probationary period salary will be Tk.44,822 only.

• Project accountant for CYCC project: Tk.30,894 per month in probationary period and Tk.32,873 only upon successful completion of probationary period.

• In both positions, provident fund, gratuity and bonus are applicable upon a successful completion of probationary period.
