Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in any discipline preferably in Social Science/ Development Studies/ Peace and Conflict Studies/ Governance Studies from any recognised university with all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA 2.00 in all academic examinations

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain seamless coordination with CEP-HO, HCMP, different programmes and departments of BRAC, Safer world, and field offices for smooth implementation of project activities
∎ Liaise, cooperate and establish rapport with relevant officials of government institutions, representatives of local government institutions, and local elites for achieving project targets
∎ Lead and manage field operations of the project in selected host communities of Cox's Bazar to meet that project targets are achieved timely paired with quality results
∎ Coordinate the mapping initiatives, workshop organisation, and thematic analysis of the project. Additionally, support the foundational and ongoing analysis for the expansion of project activities beyond inception phase
∎ Participate in designing a monitoring framework for the project and make sure effective follow-up is conducted on programme progress and gaps
∎ Ensure that planning and budgeting of the project are translated into effective implementation at the field levels. Also, manage budget and track whether expenses are done according to plan
∎ Prepare monthly work plan based on project detailed implementation plan and submit it to the Programme Head through the Programme Coordinator for approval
∎ Prepare monthly/ quarterly progress report with qualitative and quantitative information for the Steering Committee and senior management of the project
∎ Supervise Area Managers for host communities deployed under the project and review the implementation process through gender- and conflict-sensitive lens
∎ Provide support and necessary direction to staff of the project working in the host communities for effective implementation, especially in formation of Community Cohesion Fora and community consultations
∎ Provide necessary support to complete the due administrative processes and meet the requirements of relevant organisational policies and government regulations
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the safeguarding goals while acting as a key source of support, guidance and expertise for establishing a safe working environment in accordance to its reporting procedures. Practice, promote, encourage and endorse the safeguarding policy and implementation standards among team members in case of any reportable incident.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 7 years of experience in development field
∎ Have Knowledge on Local Government institutions, laws & regulations, social accountability tools, capacity building, citizen engagement in decision making, CSO, networking, advocacy and influencing, CBO, Community Mobilization, Empowerment, Social context of Bangladesh, Government safety net Programs, Result base management and M &E
∎ Skills on Leadership, Analytical ability, Time management, Staff Management, Communication, Presentation, Report writing, Conflict management, Budget, Logical Framework, Programme development, Accounts, Audit and Procurement
∎ Demonstrated management skills in a team oriented environment, problem solving, adaptability and decision making
