∎ JSC
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Organize the news to present the most interesting pieces first
∎ Research local community, state, national, and international current events
∎ Meet with the news director, reporters, and other news anchors to be briefed on the day's news
∎ Revise scripts and prepare to deliver them on-air
∎ Interview guests and other members involved in particular stories
∎ Introduce news correspondents reporting on the scene and ask them relevant questions
∎ Comply with the moral code of the journalistic profession.
∎ Professional experience on Facebook lives. Currently working as Facebook Live Presenter will get priority.
∎ Searching for and generating ideas on issues concerning Dhaka and its citizens.
∎ Writing special news reports based on generated ideas and assignments from the supervisor.
∎ Researching publicly available data and finding report ideas/angles from there.
∎ Covering city-based events (human chains, press conferences, discussions, fairs, etc) and writing engaging reports based on them.
∎ Monitoring social media and other media outlets and looking for news/feature ideas
∎ Deliver live reports from mobile broadcast team or site of the event
∎ Job Requirements
∎ Speaking fluently in Bangla with accurate pronunciation is a must.
∎ Comfortable yet professional presence on camera.
∎ Ability to improvise in a live on-camera setting.
∎ Have Experience working as an English News Anchor in any broadcasting Company.
∎ Ability to narrate audiobooks properly.
∎ Ability to provide commercial, emotional, non-commercial, and all kinds of voiceovers.
∎ Candidates with personal microphones will get preference
∎ Candidates with experience will get priority but newcomers are also welcome
∎ Ability to work under pressure as there will be strict deadlines
∎ Candidates must be confident and follow orders with diligence
Additional Requirements:
