Additional Requirements:

Have at least 10 years of working experience in senior management of a reputed NGO and fundraising activities.
Experience in working on climate change, advocacy, gender, environment conservation, WASH, and DRR project context.
Have a proven track record of similar jobs and success.
S/he should have working experience in participatory program planning, management, monitoring, evaluation, and effective use of PRA tools.
Interested in traveling and working at least 50% of the time in the workplace.
Candidates who have a valid driving license will get the privilege.
Good knowledge of computer operation including office software and internet browsing.
Good at writing and speaking in English.
Responsibilities & Context:
Job context: LEDARS is an NGO Affairs Bureau-affiliated NGO working in the southwest coastal region of Bangladesh since 1996. The southwest coastal region is one of the climate-vulnerable areas of the country and people are suffering so much. In this context, LEDARS is implementing various projects including climate change, climate justice, environment conservation, gender, youth development, etc. LEDARS is going to hire a Program Manager in its core position to provide quality input on the program and fundraising. It is the most senior-level position after the Executive Director. She/he will be fully responsible for ensuring proper management of the program, development of new program, and fundraising. Following are the major job requirements of this post.
Major Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to the senior team members for smooth operation of all ongoing programs.
Develop fundraising strategy and fundraising calendar for the organization.
Have experience in writing Project Concept Notes (PCN), Project Proposal, Logical Frameworks, Expressions of Interest, etc.
Have experience in Project Cycle Management (PCM) and increase the capacity of the team on the PCM.
Have a good experience in communicating with development partners and donors.
Identify staff’s weakness and work on developing the capacity of the staff members and mentoring the team.
Provide support to senior management to write annual reports, donor reports, periodic reports, success stories, articles, etc.
Develop EoI, ToR, MoU and Agreement as per the requirement of the organization.
Understand MEAL Framework and provide support to the concerned staff of MEAL.
Support the Admin and Finance team to address compliance issues, DDA action plan, staff recruitment, staff’s performance assessment.
Technically sound to operate linkage between all field level offices and program through online/offline
Have sound knowledge on to use program management software, remote monitoring, and field control.
Ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the program.
Job Other Benifits:
Salary: Starting 99,167 Taka. After confirmation 105,000 Taka including provident fund.
Other benefits: Yearly increment, 2 festival bonuses, conveyance, phone bill, etc. as per HR policy.
