∎ Position Overview: The Program Facilitator for the Access to Education (A2E) of Rohingya Refugees / FDMN in Bhasanchar Project will play a crucial role in the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the ECE Component / Adolescents, Adult & Skill Learning Component of the project initiatives. This role involves supervision and mentoring of Teacher & Teaching Assistant cum Caregivers / Learning Facilitator concerned and working closely with project stakeholders, beneficiaries, and team members to ensure effective project execution and positive impact on the targeted community.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Project Planning and Design: Collaborate with program officer to develop detailed project plans, including objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
∎ Conduct thorough needs assessments and beneficiary consultations to identify learning opportunities and challenges.
∎ Design sustainable and contextually relevant ECE / Adolescents, Adult & Skills Learning and Backup support interventions based on the assessed needs and project goals.
∎ Implementation and Coordination: Supervision of Teacher & Teaching Assistant cum Caregivers / Learning Facilitator and his/her day-to-day quality teaching of ECE Learners / Adolescents, Adult learners & Skills Learning and Backup support activities at LC , ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
∎ Assist teachers in Learners Assessment and Quality Control.
∎ Regular visit to LC and fields.
∎ Coordinate with local relevant sector partners' representative, community leaders, and beneficiaries to ensure smooth project execution at component level.
∎ Monitoring and Evaluation: Support Program Officer to develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track project progress, outcomes, and impacts.
∎ Prepare Regular progress reports for Program Officer highlighting achievements and challenges.
∎ Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with project beneficiaries and community members, promoting their active participation and ownership in project activities.
∎ Visit to LC / Learning Hubs and supervise teaching staffs and regular community meetings like SMC, TPA Meeting and community led events to gather feedback, address concerns.
∎ Capacity Building: Facilitate Teachers Refreshers for volunteers like teachers, teaching assistant cum caregivers and beneficiaries to enhance their skills and knowledge related to enhance learning competency.
∎ Support the development of sustainable income-generating opportunities for learners at high risk of dropout.
∎ Safeguarding and PSEA: Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program goals on safeguarding and PSEA implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment. Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Chattogram Languages is highly preferred.
∎ Proven experience: 2 years in program organizing and facilitation preferably in Education Program in humanitarian settings.
∎ Strong understanding of education programing and skills development.
∎ Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
∎ Proficiency in supervision & coordination, data collection and reporting.
∎ Ability to work effectively in a team and build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
∎ Fluency in [relevant languages if applicable].
∎ Work experience in the Rohingya camp context in Bhasanchar is preferred.
Salary: Tk. 40000 (Monthly)
