Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate and/or Masters level education in Disaster Management, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Geography and Environment and other related subject.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Development Agency, Experience in a similar role

Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Work as Secretariat Focal of the Localisation Technical Working Group (LTWG) and provide technical support to facilitate the activities of the LTWG. Particularly you will have to
∎ a. Provide technical support in convening regular meetings, drafting and distributing the agenda and minutes of the Localisation Technical Working Group (LTWG).
∎ b. Support to prepare a work plan, monitor progress of the implementation of the work plan and action points from the meetings.
∎ c. Gather data on evidence of progress on localization of humanitarian aid and actions in humanitarian response.
∎ d. Provide technical support on a common means of reporting, analyzing, and publishing data for humanitarian community-led interventions to track localization commitment progress.
∎ e. Support local and national NGOs to increase their participation and contribution in disaster response.
∎ f. Support local and national actors to maintain close coordination with the wider humanitarian community in humanitarian response.
∎ g. Coordinate capacity-building initiatives and identify gaps in staff capacity related to localization to strengthen the humanitarian interventions.
∎ h. Generate evidence-based reports, document case studies, and best practices.
∎ i. Facilitate the flow of communication.
∎ 2. Make innovative ideas and mobilize resources effectively for the organization.
∎ 3. Maintain regular communication with donor organizations for identifying funding opportunities.
∎ 4. Support to implement all activities of the organization.
∎ 5. Support to research in finding alternative resources for the long-term sustainability of the organization.
∎ 6. Perform any other duties as and when necessary as directed by the Head of Organization/Supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, SPSS and other data visualisation software.
∎ Good analytical skills and good drafting capabilities.
∎ Ability to work in a team with high degree of integrity and discretion.
∎ Strong interpersonal communication, facilitation and mobilisation skills.
∎ Advance internet browsing and computer skill.
∎ Excellent communication skill in both Bangla and English.
∎ Large database management as well as previous research capability will be considered as additional quality.

Salary: Tk. 65000 (Monthly)

All 23 members under the coalition have been working in the high risk areas of Bangladesh since long to reduce the risk of disaster on livelihood security of vulnerable household. Now, NIRAPAD is going with its` own capacity and partner organizations` maintain.
