Job Context:
∎ Centre for Women and Children Studies (CWCS) is a national level NGO, who is working since 1994 on women and children issues. CWCS is going to implement a project entitled "Empowerment of Returnee Women Migrants (ERWM)" with financial assistance by Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) from January 2020 for 4 years duration. Project beneficiaries are the returnee women migrants who were/are the victims of violence. The main focus of this project will be building leadership skills, awareness raising on rights, providing psycho-social support and reintegration in society of returnee women migrants. This project will be implemented in 2 upazilas of Dhaka district namely Nawabganj & Dohar and 2 upazilas of Manikganj district namely Manikganj Sadar & Singair.
∎ Contract Duration: 48 months
∎ Dhaka with frequent field visits to the project implementation areas. This position may require extensive field visits.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for overall supervision of the project activities.
∎ Design, develop and execute the project work plans to meet the goal, outcome and output of the project.
∎ Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
∎ Ensure good coordination with all stakeholders and donors.
∎ Conduct meeting with staff to ensure best outputs.
∎ Provide day to day guidance to project staff.
∎ Monitoring all activities of both in-office and field.
∎ Preparing reports and relevant documents regarding the project for donors and other relevant stakeholders.
∎ Sharing information with top management of the head office.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3-4 years working experience in the relevant field.
Salary:
∎ Salary will be BDT 30,000.00 (non-negotiable)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Yearly two festival bonus as per project allocation.
∎ Yearly salary increment opportunity as per project allocation based on satisfactory performance.
∎ Other benefits will be allocated as per project allocation.
∎ One day weekly holiday.
