We are looking for an experienced and technically competent Production Manager with strong expertise in ceramic brick manufacturing and ceramic wall cladding production. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing overall production operations, ensuring product quality, improving production efficiency and maintaining consistent output.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the complete production process for ceramic bricks and ceramic cladding products.

• Ensure smooth operation of production machinery, Tunnel Dryer, Tunnel Kiln and associated equipment.

• Monitor raw material preparation, forming, drying, firing, cooling and finishing processes.

• Maintain consistent product quality in terms of dimensions, shape, colour, strength, finish and durability.

• Identify and minimize production defects, breakage, wastage and rejection rates.

• Plan daily and monthly production targets and ensure timely achievement.

• Monitor kiln temperature profiles, firing cycles, drying parameters and energy consumption.

• Coordinate with Quality Control, Maintenance, Stores and other relevant departments.

• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.

• Ensure proper preventive maintenance coordination and effective utilization of manpower and machinery.

• Maintain production reports, consumption records, downtime records and quality documentation.

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, housekeeping and environmental standards.

• Train, supervise and motivate production staff to maintain operational efficiency.

Educational Requirements

• B.Sc. in Ceramic Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.

• Candidates with strong, directly relevant ceramic manufacturing experience may also be considered, depending on qualifications.
  Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in ceramic manufacturing, preferably in a production management or senior supervisory role.

  • Hands-on expertise in ceramic brick manufacturing is essential.

  • Practical knowledge of ceramic wall cladding production is highly preferred.

  • Experience with Tunnel Kiln, Tunnel Dryer, firing technology, production planning and quality control will receive priority.

  Required Technical Competencies

  • Strong understanding of ceramic raw materials, body preparation and forming processes.

  • Practical knowledge of drying, firing, kiln operation and defect analysis.

  • Ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.

  • Expertise in production planning, manpower management and process optimization.

  • Strong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to achieve production targets while maintaining product quality and cost efficiency.
