Experience:

• 3 to 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry)

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Glass & Ceramics / Mechanical / IPE/ Chemical or related field from any public university.

• 3 to 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry)

• Age At least 30 years

• 3 to 5 years of production experience specially within glass manufacturing facility (Soda-Lime experience highly preferred).

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role overseeing continuous 24/7 manufacturing operations.

• Educational qualifications may be relaxed for candidate(s) with substantial relevant experience.

• Experience in ‘Machine Maintenance’ will be an added advantage.

• Capable of working under pressure.

• `SMART` reporting and communication skills.

• Computer literacy is a must, sound in MS-Office application, e-mail & internet.

Responsibilities:

• Execute the production schedule to meet the output target.
• Oversee continuous shift operations (24/7 environment) and the end-to-end manufacturing process, including forming, annealing, and cold-end packaging lines.
• Lead and mentor a shift-based production team.
• Manage staffing schedules, resource allocation and performance evaluations to maintain high productivity.
• Optimize manpower, machinery, raw materials, and production resources.
• Ensure product quality and minimize defects, wastage, and production costs.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to minimize equipment breakdowns and downtime.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Develop and implement SOPs for efficient production operations.
• Monitor production performance and prepare periodic reports for Management.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Assist in budget preparation and control departmental expenses.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
