Job Responsibilities:
∎ Cost Analysis:
∎ Conduct in-depth analysis of production costs for flat steel products, including raw materials, labor, energy, and overhead expenses.
∎ Cost Modeling:
∎ Develop and maintain cost models specific to the flat steel production process to estimate and project product costs accurately.
∎ Variance Analysis:
∎ Investigate and report on cost variances, identifying the root causes and recommending corrective actions.
∎ Cost Reporting:
∎ Generate regular reports and presentations summarizing cost-related data and insights for management and stakeholders.
∎ Cost Optimization:
∎ Collaborate with production, procurement, and engineering teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvements, and efficiency enhancements.
∎ Profitability Assessment:
∎ Assess the profitability of different flat steel product lines, evaluate pricing strategies, and provide recommendations for optimizing margins.
∎ Inventory Management:
∎ Monitor and analyze inventory costs, ensuring accurate valuation and adequate controls.
∎ Data Integrity:
∎ Maintain accurate and up-to-date cost data in the company's systems and databases.
∎ Compliance:
∎ Ensure compliance with industry regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies related to cost accounting practices.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Previous experience in cost accounting or financial analysis, preferably within the steel manufacturing industry.
∎ Proficiency in financial modeling, cost analysis, and data interpretation.
∎ Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
∎ Knowledge of cost accounting principles specific to flat steel production.
∎ Excellent communication and presentation skills.
∎ Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
∎ Familiarity with ERP/SAP systems used in steel manufacturing.
