Job Responsibilities:
∎ A. Financial Planning and Analysis:
∎ Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term goals in heavy industries.
∎ Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to guide decision-making on projects, expansions, and investments.
∎ Create and manage financial models to assess project feasibility, cost structures, and potential returns.
∎ B. Budgeting and Capital Allocation:
∎ Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to allocate resources effectively.
∎ Determine optimal capital allocation strategies for ongoing operations, expansion projects, and technological advancements.
∎ C. Risk Management:
∎ Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks associated with large-scale projects, commodity price fluctuations, regulatory changes, and economic uncertainties.
∎ Implement risk management strategies to ensure business continuity and resilience against potential challenges.
∎ D. Project Financial Oversight:
∎ Oversee financial aspects of major projects, including budgeting, cost control, and performance measurement.
∎ Monitor project financial milestones and collaborate with project managers to ensure adherence to financial targets.
∎ E. Supply Chain and Inventory Management:
∎ Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to optimize inventory levels, manage working capital, and reduce procurement costs.
∎ Develop strategies to address supply chain disruptions and minimize their financial impact.
∎ F. Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:
∎ Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, environmental standards, and health and safety requirements.
∎ Work closely with legal and compliance teams to maintain adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
∎ G. Capital Structure and Financing:
∎ Determine the most suitable capital structure for the company's heavy industries operations, considering debt, equity, and alternative financing options.
∎ Manage relationships with lenders, investors, and financial institutions.
∎ H. Financial Reporting and Investor Relations:
∎ Prepare accurate and transparent financial statements, reports, and disclosures in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
∎ Represent the company in investor relations activities, communicating the financial performance and outlook to stakeholders.
∎ I. Strategic Leadership:
∎ Provide financial insights to the executive team, influencing strategic decisions related to expansion, diversification, and operational improvements.
∎ Drive initiatives for cost optimization, process efficiency, and operational excellence.
