Education:
    • Master of Commerce (MCom) in accounting and banking
    • Masters degree in any discipline

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master`s degree preferred).Professional certification (ACA, FCA, CPA, or equivalent).At least 12-15 years of experience in a senior financial role, preferably within the steel manufacturing or heavy industry sectors.

Skills Required: Conceptual Thinking,Monitoring and Leadership

Additional Requirements:
  • Age 35 to 45 years

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Extensive knowledge of financial and tax regulations in Bangladesh and team management abilities.

Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Proven experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, and corporate finance.

Proficiency in financial management software and SAP systems.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Financial Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve the company’s long-term objectives in collaboration with the executive management team.

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes. Monitor financial performance and provide insights and recommendations.

  • Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure compliance with all local regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting requirements.

  • Accounting & Reporting: Supervise the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

  • Cost Management: Review and optimize the company’s cost structure, focusing on improving efficiency and profitability within the flat steel manufacturing process.

  • Capital Management: Manage capital structure, including working capital and financing arrangements.

  • Corporate Governance: Ensure strong internal controls and financial policies are in place to safeguard company assets and align with the best practices of corporate governance.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Prepare financial reports for shareholders, board of directors, and regulatory authorities. Present financial results and forecasts to senior leadership.

  • Mergers & Acquisitions: Lead financial analysis for potential M&A opportunities, including valuation, negotiation, and integration.
