Job Context:
∎ The key purpose of this position is to carry out the duties and responsibilities necessary to ensure effective implementation of project logistics and procurement interventions, maintaining the highest possible level of standards and quality by ensuring necessary support for the project and utilizing resources for implementation. In this circumstance, the organization is looking for a qualified individual to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the improved project logistics and procurement services.
∎ The duration of the contract will be until December 31, 2023.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist the logistics and procurement activities of the project. She/he is responsible to support the project team in all manners relating to effective management of project logistic and procurement aspects of the project.
∎ Implement the assigned tasks relating to day-to-day procurement and logistical support that will ensure the compliances and accountabilities to NGOF and UNHCR procurement policies, procedures, and requirements.
∎ Procurement of different construction and other materials for the shelter and site development program as per the APP and Emergency requirement.
∎ Preparation of a requisition whenever available materials are below the threshold level Storehouse maintenance and monitoring,
∎ collection of quotations from the enlisted vendors, CS making, including bill summaries, and preparation of other supporting documents with bills and vouchers.
∎ Assist in conflict management, stress handling
∎ Providing additional support to project activities from time to time
∎ Preparing a weekly or monthly procurement plan
∎ Regular reporting on a weekly, biweekly, and monthly basis
∎ Perform other duties relevant to the project as required.
∎ Ensure compliance with income tax and VAT regulations, especially in terms of salary, benefits, and the procurement of goods and services.
∎ Assist to ensure the qualit for all procurement of goods and services under the NGOF project, including on-time purchasing and dispatching any material required by the project.
∎ Perform any other related duties or responsibilities that may be assigned by the project management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Basic knowledge of supply chain principles, rules, and regulations
∎ Proficient knowledge of standard computer software (MS Word, Excel, MS Office)
∎ Good communication and networking skills both in Bangla and English
∎ Hard worker, Work with pressure and emergency response, positive and can-do attitude
Salary: Tk. 50000 (Monthly)
