∎ Knowledge of current development and emergency issues
∎ Good conceptual and practical skills to write project concept papers and design documents of the project.
∎ Good knowledge and skills in forecasting and budgeting
∎ Baseline survey, Evaluation, and Monitoring process and tools.
∎ Good facilitation skills in Training, Seminars, and Advocacy programs.
∎ Proven management and leadership ability. Good communication and networking skills
∎ Chittagongian language skills will be taken into consideration. Good command of English & Bengali, both written and verbal.
∎ Decision-making and conflict-resolution skills
∎ Competent in using MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint presentation
∎ Ability to work under stressful conditions and adapt to local culture and situation
∎ At least 1-year GBV/Gender/relevant work experience. At least 1 year of Men Care/ Male Engagement work experience.
∎ Must be willing and able to travel at village level on five days in a week.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Prevention Associate will ensure Men Care activities and all day-to-day implementation of GBV prevention activities; mobilizing community leaders, men, boys, women, and girls of the community to participate in awareness campaigns and discussions/dialogue on GBV, conducting community sessions, which will lead them to gender equitable food security and relationship in the family.Project Implementation & Management:
∎ Responsible for ensuring entire Men Care activities in the project area
∎ Assist the GBV Prevention Officer to ensure all day-to-day implementation of GBV prevention activities. Mobilizing community leaders, men, boys, women, and girls from the community to participate in GBV prevention activities plan and observe different campaigns (International Women’s Day, 16 days of activism, etc.)Conduct different discussions/dialogue on GBV, community session
∎ Work with the community and other sector staff to identify GBV risks and share findings regularly to inform officers to advocate that all monitoring systems are in place and are functional and that the feedback from the monitoring system is being utilized to improve program implementation.
∎ Work closely with other project teams and local stakeholders. Support to another component of the project for gender mainstreaming. Support to another component of the project for any gender-related issues. Any other tasks assigned by the organization. Partnership, Networking & Advocacy:
∎ Establish and liaise closely with other partners, agencies, and local leaders regarding project activities to ensure a coordinated approach to project implementation, including participation in relevant workshops, and meetings and to keep the GBV Deputy Sector Lead informed. Participate in interagency assessments. Support to integrate gender into other components of WV.Training and capacity building: Contribute to preparing different modules, guidelines, and materials for training, awareness sessions, or any other event. Conduct different training for community women, men, community leaders, religious leaders, boys and girls on GBV prevention and response. Disseminate information to the community on where and how to report GBV incidences and encourage reporting. Document and share key GBV risks identified during the implementation. Engage the community in participatory exercises to develop context-specific IEC materials and messages to facilitate community-level sessions. Assist communities in identifying their priorities, opportunities, and resources for effective GBV prevention & response, participation. Organize the awareness-raising, campaign event/program in community-level areas coordinating with different stakeholders. Finance management, Monitoring, and evaluation:
∎ Prepare sub-project proposals, purchase requests, and relevant documents in advance to facilitate the implementation of planned activities. Track and manage project budget lines assigned.
