Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate closely with strategic partners to understand their priorities and work with the NGO’s internal stakeholders to shape relevant and timely communication and engagement with the strategic partners.
∎ Identify opportunities within the scope of strategic partnership for improved collaboration and system improvement supporting better communication and improved knowledge management.
∎ Facilitate the process of making periodic updates to the SPA Results Framework, based on analysis of changes in context and learning from the NGO’s programmes on the ground, ensuring high technical quality of indicators and data and relevance to the NGO’s strategic goals, while meeting the needs of donor expectations.
∎ Work closely with Finance & Accounts and Monitoring teams to ensure that results framework of strategic partnerships is up to date. Draft progress reports for SPA partners and support in results reporting.
∎ Drive knowledge management component of the strategic partnerships within the NGO, working across programmes to gather and synthesize learning and knowledge, while identifying opportunities for strategic input and thought partnership from strategic partners.
∎ Support in implementing Advocacy action plan of SPA Phase II partnership.
∎ Organize and facilitate meetings and technical consortia for strategic partners in coordination with the relevant programmes and departments.
∎ Support progammes to address suggestions and recommendations by the strategic partners to improve service delivery and increase the impact of the NGO’s work.
∎ Provide periodic updates on the in-country donor landscape and prospective opportunities to relevant programme leadership and senior management of the NGO.
∎ Produce high quality written communication documents, related to strategic partnership, including annual progress report, briefing notes, donor reporting, visit briefs, etc.
∎ Represent the NGO C in donor meetings, manage partnership engagement meetings and track progress and action plans of these engagements.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 55 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 6 years in development or related field; ideally have experience working in a number of different functions (Programme management, Resource mobilization, Fundraising/grant writing etc.)
∎ Minimum 2 years of experience in managing strategic partnership and external donor relations
