Education:

• Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)

1. Ensure the Machines / Equipment power supply is switch on and working properly.

2. Ensure safe use of therapeutic techniques and other instruments.

3. Checking the consultant prescription summary thoroughly before providing any kind of therapy.

4. Proper examination of the body region before approaching for therapies.

5. Proper documentation of assessment and progression of the patients.

6. In detail explanation of the techniques or equipments before starting any kind therapy.

7. Patients are asked to remove materials which may produce heat or having the danger of burn during electrotherapy, if any in the region / nearer of therapy region.

8. Patients are asked to give their Valuables to their attendee. (For Out-Patient and In-Patient)

9. In case of unconscious patient the Valuables are removed in presence of corresponding sister/attendant.

10. Counseling / educate the patients and their family / care giver to prevent further injury or disability related to disease.

11. Effective communication with other health care professionals to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services.

12. Ensure that incidence or emergency CODE are reported immediately and recorded accordingly.

13. Inform immediately to Sr. physiotherapist incase of any emergency related to patients care and illness.

14. Strictly follow the instruction of the In-charge and HOD.

15. Performs all other tasks as required by the departmental rules and regulations.
