Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
∎ The candidate will be a MBBS. Experience in urban health programming will be an added advantage for this position.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Overall management of the center.
∎ • Provide hands on training to Nurses and paramedics
∎ • Conduct normal deliveries and supervise/assist nurse in managing the newborn.
∎ • Implement nutrition interventions according to norms, standards and protocols, e.g. growth monitoring, screening, identification and treatment for SAM; referral of identified cases, etc.
∎ • Early diagnosis and treatment of RTI/STI.
∎ • Providing non-stigmatizing and non-discriminatory health management.
∎ • Providing quality RTI/STI care through syndromic case management
∎ • Examining the women attending clinics for maternal & child health care and family planning.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Language Proficiency: Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English at a professional level. Excellent written and oral communication skills with a fluent writing style and good knowledge and practical use of both English and Bangla.
∎ Job Knowledge: The Physician must have a good knowledge of Primary Health Care (PHC)/Health Management. In addition, the quick learning ability and pro-activeness are desired for this position. The Physician must have knowledge and understanding of the organization and roles of the different levels in order to maintain effective communication and coordination. A strong working knowledge of project management procedures, policies and practices, especially in the ESP field, is required. Good knowledge on the targeted community is desired.

Salary: Tk. 27000 - 30000 (Monthly)
