Experience:

• Diploma

• Diploma or Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or equivalent.

• 1 to 2 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital, Diagnostic Centre, Clinic

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a hospital or diagnostic center preferred.
• Knowledge of venipuncture techniques, infection control, and sample handling procedures.
• Freshers with relevant training may also apply.

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection from inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients.

• Ensure correct patient identification and accurate sample labeling.

• Maintain sample integrity during handling, storage, and transportation to the laboratory.

• Follow infection control and bio-safety protocols strictly during sample collection.

• Prepare and maintain records of daily blood collections and sample logs.

• Assist laboratory technologists in specimen processing when required.

• Ensure cleanliness and readiness of the phlebotomy area and equipment.

• Maintain adequate stock of phlebotomy supplies and report shortages timely.

• Provide compassionate and reassuring communication to patients during the procedure.

• Follow all hospital policies, patient confidentiality, and quality control procedures.
