Experience:

• At least 2 years

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)

• A Master of Pharmacy(M.Pharm) is highly preferred

• Must have a valid and updated registration with the Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh

• At least 2 years

• Age At least 22 years

Having the experience(PHC/HP/Hospital/Warehouse) to work in the Rohingya Context with the health sector will be preferable

Having knowledge of the Chittagong Language will be preferable

Job Context:

GK was created in 1972 with two visions. Firstly, "the fate of the poor decides the fate of the country". Secondly, "development of the country depends on the development of women". Since 2017, Gonoshasthaya Kendra (GK) and UNHCR have entered a partnership to respond to the Rohingya crisis in Cox Bazar and Bhasanchar.

Job Responsibilities

• To check and give input on the patient's information, allergy information, Medicines Reconciliation and
• Compare the data with the current medication to minimize the therapeutic duplication and drug-drug interaction.
• Review each prescription with all relevant patient information to handle and individualize drug therapy according to
• The appropriateness of the drug, dose, frequency, and route of administration;
• Monitor the rational use of Restricted Antibiotics as well as check the patient's Culture Sensitivity Test, Serum Creatinine, and Creatinine clearance
• Monitor rational and safe use of High Alert and High-Risk medicines.
• To ensure safe indenting and monitoring of medications in the organization. Indent the medicine for 24 hours.
• Involves the training and education of medical, pharmacy, and nursing personnel in the patient care areas.
• Assessments and contributing to the treatment decision-making process.
• Any other responsibilities as and when assigned by the GK (UNHCR project) management will be treated as a duty.

• Carry out any additional assignment per her/his position entrusted with the GK Management from time to time and mutually agreed upon.
• Management may, at any point in time, modify this job description as it is deemed necessary in Gonoshasthaya Kendra's interests in consultation with the incumbent
• Due to the emergency response nature of GK's work, hours of work may vary, and employees should be flexible in approaching hours of work in emergency conditions.
• The employee must respect the timetable, terms, and conditions of Gonoshasthaya Kendra and should always be available to respond to an emergency.
