Educational Requirements:
∎ At least diploma in medical assistance. Preference will be given those who have bachelor degree in pharmacy or having a diploma in medical assistance with specialization on pharmacy
Job Context:
∎ Following the mass influx of people from Rakhain state in August 2017, ICRC identified the extra burden this placed on the existing Ministry of Health and Family Welfare MOHFW facilities, and lack of other actors providing comprehensive primary health care in Teknaf.
∎ After influx ICRC provided medical services through mobile medical team in association with BDRCS. Although the emergency phase of the response has plateaued, the need for primary health services remains high. Whilst a mobile medical service meets the emergent needs of the population during 2017-18, a more comprehensive and geographically stable service is now needed for the next phase. A fixed clinic therefore is a more sustainable way of enabling continuity of care and improve the quality of service provided.
∎ MoU has been signed in between ICRC and DGHS, MOHFW to established and operate two primary health center in Camp 26 & 27, Teknaf. To make these PHC functioning we are hiring for the position titled "Pharmacist/Dispenser".
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure medicine is dispensed according to guidelines and prescription of the doctors.
∎ Maintaining full and accurate records of all dispensing transactions.
∎ Ensure medicine stock management for the assigned clinic/ health facility.
∎ Keep records for overall medicine consumption and update registers regularly.
∎ Ensure maintenance of proper temperature and humidity for medicine warehouse/store.
∎ Assist in ensuring Quality Assurance in medicinal and supply management
∎ Timely submission of request for procurement to project coordinator and maintaining buffer stocks
∎ Check incoming stock against the invoice. Identify any errors in incoming stock and report to wholesaler and reorder item if necessary.
∎ Ensuring that drugs are received and stored in an appropriate manner in accordance with the manufacturers' instructions
∎ Ensuring that refrigerated items are stored at the appropriate temperature and maintaining the temperature control record/logbook
∎ Operation of efficient stock control appropriate to the needs of the dispensary with the objective of ensuring continuity of supply for patients and minimizing wastage
∎ Remove out of date stock from shelves, refrigerator and dispose of accordingly
∎ Disposal of returned, unused medications
∎ Strictly follow DGHS and IFRC standards with respect to customer-friendly services, confidentialities of medical information, ethical standards and healthy working environment.
∎ Cleaning work surfaces and shelving on a regular basis and ensuring that that all dispensary equipment is kept clean and kept in good working order.
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

∎ Fluency in written and speaking of Bengali.
∎ Fluency in speaking of Local language.
Salary: Tk. 40000 - 45000 (Monthly)
