Job Responsibilities of a Pharmacist (Wellness Center)

Dispensing & Inventory Management

• Accurately dispense prescribed medicines, supplements, and wellness products.
• Maintain proper stock levels, monitor expiry dates, and ensure safe storage of all medicines.
• Record all incoming and outgoing items to prevent loss or misuse.

Patient Counseling & Support

• Provide guidance on correct medication usage, dosage, and possible side effects.
• Counsel patients on supplement and wellness product benefits, especially for integrative or naturopathic treatments.

Coordination with Doctors & Staff

• Collaborate with doctors, naturopaths, and other wellness professionals to ensure proper medication plans.
• Update medical staff on new products, formulations, or drug interactions.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with government regulations and wellness center policies.
• Maintain detailed patient and inventory records for audits and inspections.

Quality & Safety Assurance

• Check prescriptions for accuracy and contraindications.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety in the pharmacy area.

Customer Service & Education

• Provide excellent customer service and promote wellness center products.
• Educate clients on preventive health practices, supplements, and lifestyle improvement.
