Experience:
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) in the DBA track.
Appropriate professional certification in Linux OS (e.g., RHCSA, RHCE, or Oracle Linux Certified Implementation Specialist).
Database Administration & Exadata Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Oracle 19g database infrastructure as a DBA for a large organization.
Direct hands-on experience working with Oracle Exadata environments (Exadata cell storage administration, maintenance, patching, or performance tuning).
OS Platform Proficiency:
Minimum 2+ years of direct experience working on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or Oracle Linux OS platforms.
Strong familiarity with advanced Unix/Linux features (file systems, volume management, system kernel parameters) and Windows Server advanced configurations.
High Availability & Disaster Recovery:Minimum 1+ years of practical, hands-on experience configuring and administering Oracle Data Guard.
Proven implementation and administration experience with Oracle RAC.
Backup & Recovery:
Extensive hands-on experience executing backup, restore, and recovery strategies using Oracle RMAN.
Scripting & Querying:
Strong expertise in SQL (proficiency in PL/SQL is highly preferred).
Demonstrated proficiency in writing and maintaining Bash/Shell scripts for database maintenance automation.
Vendor Operations:
Proven track record raising, managing, and collaborating on Oracle Online Support Service Requests (SR).
Preferred Skills
Oracle Exadata Database Machine certification (e.g., Oracle Exadata Database Machine Implementation Specialist).
In-depth knowledge of Oracle ASM (Automatic Storage Management).Familiarity with database security compliance, auditing, and vulnerability management.

We are seeking an experienced and certified Intermediate Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to take charge of the administration, performance, high availability, and operational reliability of mission-critical enterprise database environments. In this role, you will manage production Oracle 19g databases deployed on Oracle Exadata and enterprise Linux platforms, execute backup and disaster recovery strategies, fine-tune database performance, and maintain high-availability configurations including Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Oracle Data Guard.
Key Responsibilities
Database Administration & Operations: Manage, monitor, patch, and maintain production Oracle 19g database environments in large-scale enterprise infrastructures.
Exadata Management: Administer, monitor, and maintain database environments running on Oracle Exadata Database Machine; utilize Exadata-specific features (Smart Scans, Storage Indexes, Hybrid Columnar Compression, and CellCLI/DCLI commands) to maximize throughput.
High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Implement, configure, and maintain Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Oracle Data Guard for minimal downtime and seamless failover.
Backup & Recovery Management: Execute, automate, and periodically test database backup and disaster recovery plans using Oracle RMAN.
Performance Tuning: Perform comprehensive database-level performance tuning, analyzing AWR/ASH/ADDM reports, optimizing memory/storage parameters, and assisting application teams with complex SQL and PL/SQL optimization on Exadata storage.
System & Storage Administration: Leverage advanced Unix/Linux file systems, ASM, and enterprise storage structures to optimize I/O; automate routine DBA maintenance via Shell scripting.
Vendor Support & Escalation: Log, escalate, and resolve technical service requests (SR) through Oracle Support / My Oracle Support (MOS).
Cross-Platform Support: Maintain database deployments across Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Oracle Linux, and Windows Server environments utilizing advanced operating system features.
