2 - 3 Years work experience as purchaser in foreign procurement.
Must have knowledge of foreign or overseas purchasing process.
Bangladesh native and fluent in verbal and written English.
Competent in using MS Office applications specially in MS Excel.
Personally, interested in the bicycle sector, lifestyle and industry would be an advantage.
The ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision and willingness to continuously improve processes and own capabilities.
Responsibilities & Context:
Hana System Limited is incorporated international joint venture between two of the most successful bicycle manufacturers from Bangladesh and Germany.
A 100% export-oriented company, featuring new innovative technology and quality to the highest standards. To support our growth plans we are looking for Operative Purchaser (foreign purchase) – Gazipur (Mawna).
Responsibilities:
Interact with sales team, production department and suppliers to create and maintain production schedules with estimated finishing dates.
Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
Regularly review inventory and supplier updates for problems that will affect the production schedule.
Purchase raw materials and components from abroad and ensure that all required materials arrive as promised.
Seek out and specify the best procedures and partners for incoming freight.
