Bachelor’s degree (Textile Engineering / Fashion / Merchandising preferred)

Sweater merchandising 4-5 years at Factory/Head office.

1 Product Development & Sampling

2 Strong knowledge of sweater/knitwear production (knitting, yarn, gauge, etc.)

3 Vendor & Supplier Management

4 Costing & Negotiation

5 Communication & Problem Solving.

6 Ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously.

7 Work under pressure / Stress management.

8 Computer Knowledge in Office Management, will be given preference.

1 Managed end-to-end merchandising process from product development to bulk shipment.

2 Coordinated with buyers, designers, and suppliers to develop samples as per specifications.

3 Handled yarn sourcing, swatch approvals, and sample development (proto, fit, PP samples).

4 Prepared and negotiated costing sheets, ensuring competitive pricing and margin targets.

5 Followed up on lab dips, trims, and accessories approvals.

6 Coordinated with production teams to ensure timely bulk production and adherence to quality standards.

7 Monitored Time & Action (T&A) plans to meet shipment deadlines.

8 Conducted factory visits and inline inspections to ensure product quality and compliance.

9 Liaised with QA/QC teams for final inspection and shipment clearance.

10 Prepared shipping documentation and coordinated with logistics teams for on-time delivery.

11 Maintained strong communication with international buyers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
