∎ Background of the organization: Manabik Shahajya Sangstha (MSS), a national-level non-government organization started its mission to stand by the distressed people with humanitarian aid when the country was hit by a massive flood in 1974. Having an organizational shape in 1977, MSS redirected its focus to poverty alleviation and empowerment of the poor especially the urban and rural women of Bangladesh. Thereafter, MSS started a health and population services in 1982; an integrated savings and credit program for the urban poor in 1984 which has since become sustainable. MSS was again on the front line when the focus of development shifted to building democratic societies and promoting good governance. MSS emphasizes Social Services Programs to complement its credit program for the holistic development of underserved people. Manabik Shahajya Sangstha (MSS) is looking for an experienced and competent person for the following position.
∎ Job Summary: This is an important mid-level position to contribute to MSS’s growth and development by attracting and securing financial support from the public, humanitarian trusts and foundations, corporate sponsorships and partnerships, media partnerships, donors, and local businesses, as well as through events. The position is responsible for developing, managing, and delivering sponsorship and fundraising strategies that build audiences, participants, and visitors, and ensure a strong ongoing profile and presence for MSS on a local, national, and global level. Tasks include Managing, Planning, development, project management, and successful implementation of integrated fundraising and sponsorship programs. The position will also contribute to proposal writing, donor reporting, and managing the internal system. The position is expected to coordinate closely with senior management of the organization. The position is based in Dhaka and requires field visits on purpose.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Draft concept papers, EOI, organizational profiles, brochures, editing newsletters, and program monitoring.
∎ Prepare program reports, and contribute to the organization’s different publications and documentation.
∎ Generate weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly reports as per the requirement of the management.
∎ Prepare budgets for different projects and oversee the expenditures.
∎ Making liaisons and maintaining correspondence with donor agencies, attending meetings with donors, and international visitors; undertaking field visits with overseas visitors.
∎ Plan, organize, conduct, and coordinate all seminars & workshops.
∎ Responsible for the smooth functioning of Fund Raising & Sponsorship of MSS.
∎ Keep the organization informed about program development and ongoing activities by supplying periodic reports.
∎ Build and maintain partnerships and relationships with other relevant organizations, donors/sponsors, service providers, government agencies, and community organizations.
∎ Build and maintain reliable partnerships and healthy relationships with other organizations, donors/sponsors, Eye Care service providers, government agencies, and other community organizations.
∎ Expand the organization's image by circulating the activities of the organization's different projects and programs.
∎ Prepare different reports and also presentations based on reports and present them to the senior management of the organization to keep them informed about ongoing activities and program development.
∎ Prepare and present different presentations on program activities to national and international visitors.
∎ Record keeping and proper documentation.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Job Location: Dhaka (Frequent field visits)
∎ Males and females both are eligible to apply.
∎ Proven experience working in managing a team with the particular thematic sector of Sponsorship & Fund Raising.
∎ Knowledge of Bangladesh's geographic, socioeconomic, and political context, etc.
∎ Strong people management and team-building skills with a gender-friendly attitude.
∎ Strong written and verbal communication skills both in Bengali and English.
∎ Very good command of the Microsoft Office Package.
∎ Excellent skills in report writing and presentation.
∎ Coordination/ Advocacy/ Networking/ Communication skills.
∎ Monitoring, Evaluation Decision-making, Documentation & Problem-solving skills.
∎ Planning, analytical, and strategic management skills.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and manage workload effectively to meet the deadline.

Salary:
∎ After confirmation BDT: 30,000 - 45,000 per month (negotiable during the probation period).
