Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure a high standard of student engagement and learning quality by providing technical assistance, ongoing mentoring, and coaching to teachers in implementing new participatory and exploratory teaching-learning methods in BRAC Academy classrooms
∎ Conduct weekly refresher training to improve teachers' pedagogical skills, focusing on participatory and exploratory teaching methods
∎ Ensure alignment with best pedagogical practices and learning objectives by collaborating with the curriculum developers/HO team
∎ Assist teachers in adapting and contextualizing curriculum content to meet the diverse needs of students
∎ Provide guidance to ensure consistency and quality in teaching practices by monitoring the implementation of the curriculum through regular classroom observations
∎ Ensure transparency in financial management processes, including tracking of accounts, budgeting, expenditure, and income at the area level
∎ Facilitate communication between teachers, students, and parents to ensure a collaborative approach to education.·       Represent BRAC Academy in internal and external educational forums and share best practices with a broader audience
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
